wasn't stormheilm enough? i was satisfied with that.

and it is implied that we are going to see gilneas again, genn also had an important role this xpac, worgens are fine. i expect heritage questline involving gilneas and new models.

Not really no, not for me anyway. To be honest, a much better story to tell with Worgen would have been an entire zone dedicated to war with Forsaken and Stormheim wasn't that. It was just partial sidestory skirmishing that wasn't the main story of the zone.

The closest thing we get to that are zones that only Horde get to experience and enjoy, like Silverpine and Hillsbrad.

Rednford, I have some different questions. How do you see the Worgen, what do you personally think is their core identity and characterization? What themes do you feel they express?

I want them to be the dark side of the Alliance, the cursed monsters that the other races are uneasy about with their own agenda and more of a sinister edge. They don't have to be as evil as the Forsaken, but they should still be edgy in their own right. Making them vengeance-driven, more aggressive, more scary, and less merciful to their enemies than other Alliance races would go a long way to establishing what makes them different.

As it stands right now, Void Elves do a much better job of servicing that fantasy than Worgen do. Worgen just feel like an outlet for dog jokes and other silliness that should not suit them when they were meant to be added to give the Alliance more seriousness to their narrative compared to the Goblins adding more humor and comedy to the Horde.
