Oh I fully understand it’s an elf patch. I get it. It’s still the fact that there is dead silence from Blizzard towards the worgen fanbase. Elf fanbase have been answered numerous times when it wasn’t “their patch” so to speak. And there is already unequal treatment given the number of options we received for the Shadowlands launch versus others.
(This was before the inclusion of the purple eyes for elves and obviously 9.1.5)
Shadowlands launch was supposed to be about core races. While I agree, Nightborne desperately do need this and have needed it, I just wish Blizzard would at least say -something- at all to communicate with US like they have with the elven fanbase. The dead silence is very off putting.
I fear Worgen are going to be constantly skipped over and not acknowledged.
I’ve said that from the very beginning. As a role player myself, it’s great that we can customize separately now but honestly, I’d sacrifice that ability to have more options for my worgen.
I believe we got taxed for not only the human customization thing but also the fact that our model “update” came in 8.2.5.
Still makes me mad that we LOST a customization option in the mix as well.
I wouldn’t say that either seeing as Goblins got way more customization than even the male blood elves when they got their update the same time as us worgens. Like even the goblins, who got updated at the same time as us, got so much stuff that both male and female variant are in the top 10.
Blizzard has a really really weird priority when it comes to these customizations as we’re now seeing with them skipping over the male blood elves, one of the most played race on the horde, still being left in the dust by now their void elf variant.
Hopefully 9.2 will be when Blizzard finally double down on the core races they left behind, and actually finish on us worgens, and male blood elves.
I’m still hopeful that they will at least acknowledge that there is a demand for more worgen customization, it would really feel awful if they just left us in dark forever.
egh, more of this knee jerk virtue signalling BS, now on race voice lines. stop redacting stuff that none cared about being their blizz and start adding stuff that people want.

What about our suggestions for improvements to Blizzard worgen customizations? Priorities please, yes?
And changing this will not prevent anyone in the game from continuing to act in an unpleasant way, especially if we have to have the depressive and shameful for alliance, cross faction.
im mostly focused on the fact that they keep caving to other race fans but ignore worgen for the most part unless its something bad that needs to be sensored, we still dont have tails and the males still hunch like an old man wolf, we still cant color (hair) different from the rest of the fur pattern, what if i wanted my worgen to have a blue fur mane to go with her grey fur pattern… for a company thats supposedly trying to be open minded to freedom of expression they are being very (black and white) about worgen…
Currently they’re not really talking about any races aside from Velves, LFD, HMT and Nightborne.
No one else has gotten much in the way of response from them. I think thats kinda unfortunate, but I get that they’re holding back before they can count their chickens.
I do think it would be nice if they could communicate a little more to calm fears that they’re ignoring everyone else. They did at one point say that they were taking our responses into account for later but that they were specifically focused right now on those AR’s.
Otherwise the entire rest of what you say I think is fair and true.
Worgen deserve more. (many races do) Blizzard needs to do better.
Worgen have 10 years of neglect that we were given by Blizzard. Worgen for once would love to see a Blue Post giving us some kind of clue as to… are we being considered for anything? Just one simple blue post Blizzard its all we ask for.
