I want some more options that are ragged looking for females. Could be a toggle, ragged on or off.
Also optional tails!

So with the Emerald Dream out, I had a thought.
What if Blizzard gave worgen customization the option to pick night elf instead of human as their non shifted forms as opposed to making it an Allied Race?
Think about it… Some key details here:
- Blizzard wouldn’t need to stress their art team with brand new assets to make a night elf worgen stand out in their shifted forms as opposed to a Gilnean. I mean, in the end, both Gilneans and night elves are worgen…
- No need to create new racials or a new heritage armor set. (Though it should be flagged that if you’re a night elf, you get the night elven heritage and same with Gilneans getting their respective armor.) Both of which are in game already.
- Customization option would be unlocked via a small quest chain.
- Doing this chain would be perfect to also open up worgen tails for all worgen players. (Wishful and hopeful thinking here.)
- Not much coding and UI adjustments would need to be made on the character customization screen.
- This is simply an aesthetic thing and have no weight on gameplay.

Great idea but we are talking about Blizzard the kings of… how little can we do and get away with it.

I’ve been wanting night elven worgen for a few years now.
Really should be an option. I’d race change my druid into one pretty quick.
I’d like to see wolf based druid forms though, make them available to existing Gilnean druids as well. More options the better.

Well we’re literally getting a patch where Gilneas gets reclaimed and there are no new customization options for Worgen in the same patch, and the only new customization options are new hair colors for Trolls and presumably new hair and/or skin colors for Draenei.
I’m convinced that we are NEVER getting any kind of substantial additions to character customization for older races ever again that aren’t just new options for pre-existing categories like hair colors and skin colors.

Yet Kul’Tir also have custom druid forms instead of maned night elf druid forms. Trust me I would love to see other races get more love as well but Worgen have been fighting for love since Cataclysm and gotten only the HD model revamp. We are still the only core race in the game who never got our racals revamped. Once we get some love shown im all for helping the ally races get some love as well.

a little off topic but i have thought of rolling a worgen monk, how do the animations hold up?
Not bad its one of the few Worgen who don’t have to use weapons and use the claws instead. They do look a bit off balance thanks to no tails on some animations but we all know how that can be fixed.

They still have the arm-breaking one-handed animation, by the way.
You can look through their animations with Narcissus and see for yourself. Both the Attack 1H and Attack 1H Pierce. The unarmed attack as well, though it’s much less noticeable.

I think you mean any hairstyle.
