Ashran was fun. PvP gearing was effective. People did rated battlegrounds. Raid logging was a thing. No AP grind. No essence type systems. Dailies could be ignored. Time gated grinds weren’t really a thing.

We each have our own preferences, and one is not superior to another, nor righteous. I steadfastly maintain that Mists is the single best expansion in all of WoW’s current history, bar none.

I wouldn’t call it my favorite, but I loved the garrisons and micro-managing the various buildings and production lines on alts. I wouldn’t mind those coming back in some capacity (note: I still use them to generate hexweave bags for some minor income).
i look back at wod as a good time now too because there was still thinks in the game i loved back then so in comparison to now it was good

The only part I really remember loving was being able to see Draenor before the Legion hit and everything. Like I’d kill to be able to see what Argus used to look like, that stuff is cool af to me.
Fair enough, what about the expansion would you like to see in Shadowlands?

MoP was fantastic. I slow down my frantic leveling pace there each time just to enjoy the quests / atmosphere.

WoD was the last expansion to have the following
-Glyph of Falling Meteor for demolocks
-Blade Flurry with no target cap
-Fire Nova…I’m sorry Enhance. I’m so sorry.
-Blood DK walking around with 2x-4x health thanks to Blood Bubble
-…Guard

I liked WoD. I could run challenge modes all day, they were so much fun. M+ just doesn’t really give the same vibe. Also the class design after WoD was/is atrocious

Ashran seems to be despised by most, but that’s the feature that kept me playing for a long time during WoD. I would play Ashran with the other regulars for hours and not get bored. Fond memories.
Not really. Pathfinder was a thing there too.
The rest of the things were cool though.
It wasn’t my favorite expansion though, but it was the last one before the pruned the classes (esp Hunters) to oblivion.
