If Classic+ ends up Vanilla+ then yeah I’d def prefer wod. Vanilla was fun to revisit once in 2019, but the game/class design is awful. If it’s not at a minimum wrath based, then I’d prefer to play wod.

Every expansion they release just brings in more of the class bloat that they’ve had to purge in Midnight. No more thx.

People want WoD when MoP is becoming an increasingly miserable experience with all the bugs and neglect from Blizz?

Let’s say in the unlikely reality they do release WoD. You think it’ll be a good experience with all of the classic devs focused TBC/Potential Wrath and Classic+ (or whatever they are teasing us with).

Unless something changes and we see some fixes in the current xpac, anything past Throne of Thunder is gonna be bottom of the barrel experience - with most of the content buggy and messed up from lack of resources, attention, and active fixes that aren’t just Jimmy the Intern tweaking the % values on wizard classes.

Something needs to change fellas

I agree. Naysayers are entitled to their opinions, but they’re forgetting one of the big draws to Classic in the first place..

It’s not just for those who want to revisit and re-experience earlier versions of WoW. It’s also for people who never played “current WoW” aka retail, who would like to experience the expansions as they were (more or less). I want to experience the story and play the classes as they were designed, and enjoy dungeons and raids as they unfold.

People who keep saying “WoD was terrible, you don’t want to play it” sound like the arrogant devs who said “You don’t want Classic, it was worse than you remember”, nevertheless I’ve had a great time with it so far! Let the players decide if it’s “that bad”

Being able to experience WoD with characters I’ve been playing for nearly 7 years is icing on the cake.

Pretty important icing though.. they need to have SOME sort of plan for us and our beloved characters besides “it’s over, go play a different version of wow”

MoP and Legion both deserve era servers for pvp

MoP was the most “bloated” the game has probably ever been. WoD and Legion trimmed a lot of that down, and Midnight pruned even more than those two did.

Even wrath had much more complexity than a lot of other xpacs, and it’s regarded as one of the best.

funny you mention that, cause the classic populace fall off should be studied. as if the players realized the devs were right. :man_shrugging: its been down hill since the first classic dark portal opened.
