I don’t care about people yelling “let it die’“ Or “where does it end?” I want WoD classic and I know many others that do. I also don’t care if people call it a raid log xpac, guess what everyone’s been doing since wrath classic? Raid logging. WoD pve content is excellent and as long as were waiting on C+ id love to play some gladiator warrior again.

I’m not even kidding when I say this, you should probably seek therapy. I genuinely believe that people are so invested in their 2019 classic chars they aren’t ready for the end (MoP) and this is why they’re saying things like OP is saying.
People just aren’t ready to move on.

I would also love to see WoD classic.
Biggest issues with WoD were pacing and the garrisons, both of those are non issues in a classic setting.
Raids were objectively incredible blackrock foundry and hellfire citadel are top 10 all time raids easily. WoD would be an easy slam dunk and then we can get legion which is also a slam dunk.
Please blizzard don’t listen to the crybabies, people would play wod

Some people likely would but in terms of pacing, if you’re expecting anything other than what they already had, you might be disappointed.
I mean, it’s already looking like the ToT phase might last 6 months
for its issues, wod classic was responsible for some of the coziest zones, some of the coolest dungeons, some of the best raids, and some of the best spec design.
wod classic on an accelerated schedule would be great

Good luck getting accelerated cadence when china wow and classic+ is running. You will have 6 months for every raid - same issue as Og.
Hellfire citadel was out for 18 months, 6-8 months would be a very increased cadence. The rest of the raids were fine besides that one.

Hellfire citadel lasted 13 months and obv hfc classic would last even longer than 6 months. The issue wasn’t hfc being too long - there was simply nothing to do for 2 years except raiding and sitting in your garrison. One major patch brought us the selfie camera..

Although Blizzard probably has already made their mind on whether to release WoD, I must provide my opinion here. WoD is actually a fantastic game. Many people didn’t like it because they thought Garrison killed the “social” feature. But nowadays, look at retail, look at classic progression, who cares about “social”? Nothing can erase the fact that the game itself is fun. Dungeons are fun, Raids are fun, Garrison is fun, story is good. And more importantly, the class designs and the game system remains simple. A simple but in-depth system is what makes classic servers “classic”.
Also the idea that classic “should end” at MoP is difficult to understand. If people want to stop playing classic progression, they just stop playing. Why do they want to see the game end? What do they benefit from progression server’s death? My guess is many of those people are probably era-TBC-Wrath players and they want progression players to play on their servers.

You are no life hardcore raider since when do you care about story? And no, the story was terrible with many retcons and plot holes. Even nobbel made a meme video about how bad the wod story was. Probably the worst story next to shadowlands.
Waste of dev time. Also continues to split the community. And it’s not that people want it to happen - they are just realistically what is going to happen.

Warlords of Draenor is one of the best expansions in terms of art direction and music. These are things the current new blood developing the game will never understand.
Those who don’t like it can simply ignore it.
It’s a shame that the backlash against Warlords of Draenor and the Warcraft movie pushed the legendary devs to leave Blizzard. Much respect to Nick Carpenter, Wei Wang, and the other Sons of the Storm.

WoDs class design alone made it the worst fn expansion! Leveling was fun one time through than was no different than the rest. PVP trashcan was a joke. Destroyed LFR for casuals.

“Social” is one of the big things about why Classic is so appealing. It’s about being part of a community.
Retail WoW and the new mega-server Classic/increased cadence does kill the social aspect quite a bit.

they went to sleep after WoD ended. who knew it would be until WoD classic they start voicing opinions. if memory serves correct, literally everyone and their mother was spitting on that expansion by the end of it when Legion was announced. so yeah. also Im pretty sure people just dont wanna let go of their 2019 toons which is ironic. same people let go of their toons in OG MoP, just to come back to play MoP classic, just to complain about the game again.
