wouldnt you agree most people run m+ for the rng lootbox at the end of the week?if the highest you can get is now the 430 from a m+ 10 isnt that all most of them will do?
most people run the m+10 just for the chance for it to wf/tf at the end of the week in that goes people wont run m+ as much.
I love all of the people thinking that shredding M+ will all of a sudden make the raiding pool grow. Likely it would just make all of the M+ players quit. You cannot close Pandora’s box once it has been opened.
If m+ loot isn’t good enough to allow you to compete in high level m+ without raiding; tons of us will quit.

Yeah, I agree. I didn’t mostly withdraw from raiding because of m+. M+ is almost the only reason I bothered to login for most of the expac.
They just need to replace the gear rewards of M+ with something else. If you got a mount, transmog set, title, and tabard for clearing all +15s in time, people would still do it, just like people push for gladiator in PvP every season.
If people wanted to raid they would be raiding even with mythic plus available. Short content that doesn’t need to be scheduled is highly desirable.
I don’t think you will see the raiding population increase as long as they have classic to complete for players.
Yup. If it goes back to raiding = the only source of top level loot. Me, and about 15 of my friends, are gone.
This doesn’t improve the game. For many it destroys the only reason we play anymore.
Part of the reason is titanforging but is not the sole reason.

Nope. We push for score because it is fun to push limits. If your limits are blocked because you are not in raiding gear? Only raiders can compete? You think requiring a rogue is bad now? Requiring a resto druid and monk tank? Now it’ll be “raiding gear rogue for 18+”

No one ever said that what has happened will reverse instantly. Only that said change needs occur and the longer we wait the more it will turn into the LFR situation. Meaning that to fix the damage it will take as long, if not longer to fix, then LFR has been in the game.
I would imagine the weekly item would still be 440 as a base. just cant be forged higher. And the azerite would go to 445.
The loot incentive for high keys has mostly been getting more chance at a tf when the chest has more loot in it.
If it’s all just base heroic, why would many people bother after they’re heroic ilevel (which takes a week if you have the free time)?
Imagine taking a 430 geared player right now to anything over a 15. You wouldn’t do that, would you? It’ll be the same in the next patch. If you are not raid geared, you will simply be looked over.
That’s humanity. It’ll happen. Doesn’t matter what anyone says or thinks. That is reality.
This change cripples m+ content so badly it hurts my soul

People in my guild set goals to have mythic raid gear via mythic plus dungeons each season. They are on a server where mythic raiding doesn’t happen. Remove their ability to do that and they need another reason to play.
And we both know that if they didn’t build it, people would still cry about it 
By only a certain group of players. I am fairly sure the majority actually likes having the chance to get TF/WF.
My server group was 0/8M something like 2-3 weeks ago.
People think it’s a ghost town now? Murder M+ and see what happens.
