Blizzard must adapt or fail. There is currently no route to get equal gear as black wing lair doing pvp – unless you have absolutely no life and no job. So that should be fixed.
There should be a route that requires the same timesink the PVE route requires.
Why would you even play classic then to begin with?
Player uses more time to rank up, than to raid (to gear up full bwl).

Well that’s what I’m suggesting needs to be fixed. The same time it would take one to acquire a full set of black wing lair gear, should be the time it requires to get rank 14 gear or an equivalent.
There’s currently no route to achieve that unless you have absolutely no life and no job. This is not required for the PvE route tho. You can have a life and a job yet still get equally powerful gear through PvE. The time sinks should be nearly the same.
If ya ain’t got the time, don’t do the grind.

With the current dynamics absolutely yes. But what is being suggested is a PVP route that requires the same time sink a PVE route would for equal gear rewards. A very rational and sound recommendation.
Smoothing all the asymmetry out of WoW year after year is what got us to retail. A big part of Classic’s charm is that it’s an unbalanced, unfair, quirky exploit-prone time vampire. R14 weapons accruing to only that which has no life is how it was meant to be.

That is incorrect. Due to RP decay, you will never get past a certain rank without pushing into higher brackets.
You actually have to push into bracket 14 (top bracket) if you want R14 in less than like 15 weeks.
