Not true at all. MAYBE they change it in the past couple of years (assuming they come today), but I always opened family presents then would go open them under the Blizz tree afterwards. At most it was with the daily reset before

i been playing sense end of BC start of wrath and its always been 1pm eastern time for me, which is 10am pst time.

Yes, I think it is 10 am PST… People were telling others you had to do the Milk and Cookies quest to open them…Everyone was scrambling to find cookies or farm eggs lol

You know, I think part of the problem is that there’s nothing on the calendar indicating what time presents appear. Winter Veil starts 9 days earlier but on Dec 25 there’s nothing in-game that indicates the present time. So it’s one of those things that you have to just know, or learn from external sources, because the game itself doesn’t explicitly provide the info.
