I am usually against this idea, but for this map they need to have a forfeit option if 95% of the team picks it, would also award the winning side with extra honor or conquest if they do.
On this Character I am 2 wins 1 loss, on my rogue I am 8 wins 1 loss. My last match on my Rogue on defense we just rode around in a group of 24 vehicles smashing them. The Alliance couldn’t even hold anything and we would bombard the GY the spawned at until the re-spawned somewhere else and we would do it again. did this for 45 mins. I had 12 killing blows 0 deaths and a little over 240 HK’s. The Alliance had no healers because they left, and almost every one there team had 0-4 kills because people where quitting and new people would get stuck in the match. There is zero fun in this for both sides. Something needs to be done to this map to allow a quicker win if the attacking team is getting utterly destroyed so people aren’t getting stuck in a $**Tstorm match and tons of people getting the deserter debuff because 15mins is less then the 45min stompfest.
I think the only way to fix it is to let each side only have up to 3 vehicle at one time.
Maybe Alliance does not know how to play this BG I’m past the point of even caring now.
I just won and I still hate it at the end, we had 16 vehicles the more vehicles better your chances are of winning to me this is not PVP. I’m OK with some vehicles in the game but this is way too many.
Sometimes a player wants something back and when they get it. It’s not how they remember it. At one time this BG may have been great, but I think times have past it by. Blizzard gave in and I think we’re stuck with it now.
the amount of vehicles your team can make is based on the amount of workshops you control. a team with more vehicles should be winning because it means they control more of the map.
but again, i’m in a cat, you’re in a cat, we’re trying to kill each other, how is that not pvp?
I feel that… I think part of what you’re experiencing is simply just how gutted and watered-down modern WoW is compared to back then.
In WoTLK all the classes simply played better/smoother, had rich action bars full of abilities, and lots of abilities were off of GCD, etc. Also if I remember correctly there was a 200 player limit back then? I can definitely see things like those affecting the player experience
Modern WoW is a shell compared to WoTLK, so playing this bg just doesn’t feel the same
This bg feels more like a “vehicle PvE slog” more than anything PvP… like half the bg is spent fighting against vehicles, getting ganked by vehicles, running away from vehicles, etc
I was going to have to lay down a little medicine I like to call “Buhbuh The Bad News Battalion Beast”
And that would first inquire me to “Burst His Bubble”, by telling him we have to let our 2nd and 3rd string Horde PvPers to get a chance to play.
Bless their hearts, they definitely need a little more playtime, or else they’ll always be sitting on the bench watching me installing Hammers in this Hunters larynx. And then I’m going to eat his pet. Right in front of him as he gets ready to see the phrase “YOU HAVE DIED. RELEASE?”
After that, I’ll have to go to mum’s. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How’s that for a slice of [fried gold?
I agree especially with your last point. I think that’s mainly it. Also, what you mentioned about the 200 person cap. I’d love to have that back because WG is just so large. I’m surprised Blizzard released it in this state.
I must say that win or lose, I’m a little sad because this bg is not the experience I remember in Wrath at all.

When I see the vehicles argument I just face palm because it immediately tells me they don’t know about the map. Pick up rpggs and two shot their siege. Bonus points if they are stacked and you take out their entire siege line with two shots.
