Ok, Let’s Get This Straight when I Q I do both Random Battlegrounds and Random Epic Battlegrounds that’s what I love to do everyday. I just come here to voice my opinion on this BG.
I was fine before they added it to the mix now it’s something I have to put up with and I do not like it. (voice my opinion)

Gd, come on, now… it’s basically like a super-easy raid whose outcome depends on which side has the best FotBG ranged damage and healers…

The most blizzard did to “design” it was to add in the roaming cats and bears… :stuck_out_tongue:

[edit] Also, show the win rates for SS/TM, and you’ll easily see why horde like it and alliance don’t. That brawl is probably one of the best ways to reveal the gap in gear between alliance and horde, as well as the gap in FoTM types of players for each faction.

I hate Wintergrasp … whenever I get it I AFK straight out . Please Blizz Atleast for EBG, give us a blacklist of BG’s we don’t want to play in. It’s been 5 days since I played and finished a EBG, I used to do one everyday but I get WG almost every time , i afk get deserter and then I don’t have time to play another one :sob:

As a Boomkin, SSvTM is super fun. ALL THAT DAMAGE LOL!

As a player it’s boring. Straight deathmatch just doesn’t work for me in WoW. SSvTM is almost entirely decided by team strength, not by playing better,

I did the “new” wintergrasp a few times, it’s alright, but still suffers from the same issues as WotLK.

Why Blizz didn’t make Warfront PvP instead I don’t know.

the EBG queue was separated off because so many people blacklisted AV and IoC, the 40 mans are in their own queue so they are default blacklisted for everyone in the bg queue. if you don’t like large battles, map focus, and hour long bgs, don’t join the ebg queue, simple as that.

what you are doing is the equivalent of joining arena then complaining that its not a bg, you are in the wrong place.

They can have a blacklist for the EBG section as it’s only a 3 BG option right now . It won’t affect queue times as the options are so few.

it would have the exact opposite effect and skyrocket queue times. you have 80 players to make a bg with, 1/3 of them have blacklisted AV, 1/3 have blacklisted IoC, and 1/3 have blacklisted WG. this means you will realistically need to wait until 240 players have queued, then you will be able to open 1 bg.

but given that we are also getting tol barad and ashran in the future, its probably better if you just don’t queue into the ebg queue if you don’t like the style of gameplay.

So you’re telling me I’ve been having fun in BG,s for years, but now that WG come I’ve been doing it wrong?
Why are you so upset that there a few of us that do not like Wintergrasp?
I had no problems with EBG queue till they put Wintergrasp in.

AV comes down to team pushes, which is often doing AoE with controlled burst to wear out healers, the particular pvp aspects of fighting a player or class don’t matter. at the end you generally still need to do some pve to kill the boss/npcs, and being able to apply PVE theorycrafting to PVP dps talents and rotations can make the difference between losing and winning.

IoC is similar, but adds vehicle combat and siege warfare. the biggest pvp aspect will be refinery and quarry, however depending on who is holding what, players can call in support. its not really pvp when i had the airship or glaives rain down death on you and you buddies while i /dance now is it?

so yes, you have been doing it wrong, based on what you have been saying my impression is that you prefer the player+class vs player+class fighting and countering aspect of pvp over the objective and pve aspects. ebgs are more heavily based on the objective aspects than the pvp combat, so it makes no sense to queue into something you don’t like.

im not upset, but i do understand why you don’t like it, in WG healers are few and far between, heavy aoe damage is everywhere, everyone dies a lot. then there is vehicle combat, in pve i effing hate this, i hated it in occulus, i hated it in EoE, i hate it in every quest in bfa. but in WG it makes sense. WG is epic siege warfare, the vehicles add that aspect to it. add in the fact that very few players really know WG well so most games atm are a clusterF***.

so, you die alot, get stuck in or facing vehicles, and everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off, its not hard to see why you don’t like it.

you could learn to work around this like many players have, or not queue in ebgs, or just put up with it. but WG was demanded back by players, so you are in the minority here. i have a similar problem with the normal bg queue, i can’t stand seething shore, imo it’s $hit on a stick, if i get it first i will /afk out immediately, i might stay if im doing normal bgs and am on a win streak, but otherwise i think it’s crap. i love the rest of the bgs, but that one keeps me out of the normal bg queue most of the time.

Enemy I see we agree on a lot of stuff now, but when it comes to AV-IoC, I put up a strategy for those two BG’s to try and help win. I do love AV when it comes to a big battle.

Not so fast there.
There’s a reason I play like I do, but that too long of a story to go into Let’s just say I love BG’s and killing hordes.

you could view WG from a different perspective, the aspects you don’t like are challenges to overcome. often in WG when not in a vehicle i will support and direct them. gripping and chaining enemy players for our cats, slowing and even soloing sieges. high damage everywhere increases the risk and thus the thrill of success.

On this map they got way too many vehicle that what I hate and like I said it’s something I had to put up with. I don’t think they can fix it to make me like it.
And if they don’t change it you gonna have a lot more complaining than just a few that in here. I won 2 out of about 10 now that might be just my luck, but I’m fine with that but all you hear is complaining about the vehicle damage.

I am aware iam just saying that’s the same response I got I would love for blacklisting back too but its never gonna happen
