It was in the game and Horde could have fought for and won glaives and in some of my BG they did win the fight for the glaives. So back then all the Horde teams that won IoC was cheating to would you say?
Couldnāt shoot the boss with them Horde-side. And in my matches I generally focus glaives if Ally has docks, even today. And would spam āget glaives donāt let them cheatā in chat back then.
People just donāt like to take ownership of their own behavior.

No, the glaives exploit was never available to Horde. Glaives exploit/cheat was an Alliance-only/Alliance-exclusive method.
Due to the layout of the buildings, the demos and glaives canāt hit the Allianceās boss thru the wall/floor. But the Hordeās keep building is layed out in such a way that both the demos and glaives could hit the Horde boss thru the floor with their āsplash damageā.
So literally all it would take to win as Alliance was: a) the Horde gate being down, and b) just 1 good/competent Alliance player driving a glaive and firing off 2-3 shots thru the floor.

I do not getting vehicles so I donāt even know about the cheat I was thinking maybe they hit the doors too hard or something this is new to me.

Yep, it was the stair layout. Alliance base has that turn after you go up the first stairs so a wall ends up blocking the shots. Horde guy is standing right in front of the stairs looking towards the door.
Sorry when it comes to PVP I see horde and red means dead I really donāt get into the vehicle aspect of it damn I feel dumb for not noticing it.

Yeah it was pretty dumb. Weād be on the boss and have him down to 25%, then the Alliance breaks down the gate and 4 seconds later our boss is dead.
The glaive bug did actually work on the Alliance boss. I posted screenshots on the old forums of the Alliance general taking glaive damage. It was much rarer and much harder to achieve, but it was possible. The boss had to be tanked against the wall opposite where he stands and the glaives had to be in the gate aiming above the jail bars.
Probably because this isnāt a vehicle combat game and nothing about their implementation is intuitive

not everything needs to be super intuitive, you are playing a video game after all, not asking grandma to compose an email. a learning curve is to be expected.

Except WG was really popular back in the day and likely largely asked for to make a returnā¦ then thereās Ashran. I wasnāt a fan but they are bringing it back, so I can only assume it was a favorite and many people were asking for it back.
I cannot even remember being in the BG with this happen, but if I did Iām sorry. for me cheating at PVP would take out the fun I would no longer want to play.
I get tired of this argument, it is so much bull crap we should not have to go play arena because we donāt live vehicle PVP. there is No other BG with this many vehicles.

with this many vehicles no, but 1 bg that is vehicle heavy isnāt the end of the world. AV is very PVE centric, and IoC is a mix.
the random bg queue is even more diverse, you could say PVP stands for Player vs Player, not flag spinning, ctf, guarding nodes, or escorting mine carts. if you want team deathmatch, that is exactly what arena is. battlegrounds have objectives, pvp is only a part of accomplishing that objective, but it is not the main goal. this is why if you focus only on the pvp you get called a noob, nobody likes a midiot or roadfighter, they want to accomplish objectives.
I would love for Blizzard just make a Q for WG see how well it actually does.

you realize players were saying that exact thing about AV and IoC when they were in the regular rotation. WG does fine, Ashran is getting added and perhaps we might see tol borad in the future.
you donāt like WG, and that is your opinion, but thats not enough to ditch a bg that was requested by popular demand.
