they feel like that was put in at the start of the game and never been upgraded
Our characters have been wearing the same pair of underwear for up to 15 years. A sweater doesn’t seem like a big problem.
I’d prefer they disable mogging the “silly” stuff entirely, rather than expand it to all the seasonal/silly stuff. I don’t want to see Santa suits outside of Winter. I don’t want to see people wearing Jack-o-lantern helmets all year like you see skins in Overwatch. I don’t want to see that Blizzcon Woolie… ever again.
That said, it’s hard to reasonably argue that opinion when people can look absolutely ridiculous with exclusively gear that’s supposed to be normal/serious. Just mismatching normal gear gets that way if you’re going out of your way to do it, and it doesn’t look any less silly than someone wearing holiday gear out of season or using a fish-mace.
So the person saying “if someone wants to look like a clown, they’d already look like a clown” is probably the most right.

I think it’s really silly that Blizzard draws the line at people wearing Christmas hats year round…but it’s perfectly reasonable for a Gnome with pink hair and pigtails to tank a 100 foot tall demon. -_-
The transmog restrictions need to GO. Half the time you already can’t tell what someone is just by looking at them because gear has gotten so ridiculous looking.
The restrictions suck because I want to make a specific outfit for my character but it only looks good with the bunny ears from Easter or the flower crown. But you can’t do that unless the holiday is here.

I like that it’s restricted to seasons. It makes it feel more unique and special.
Plus seeing someone in Xmas gear in July is like hearing Jingle Bells in July. It’s just weird and irrationally annoying.

Might not break the game but seeing santa year round would build up a tolerance to the Christmas spirit ( Oddly auto spell wants to correct christmas to masochist )

I went all out goofy for the holidays. I would not wear this after the holidays.
