Winter Grasp - VERY buggy

Winter Grasp is very fun (when it works), and a refreshing change of pace for the Epic BGs. However it has A LOT of technical bugs.

  • Siege Vehicles:
    • When requesting to build a siege vehicle I will randomly get disconnected from the Epic BG (any Epic BG).
    • When my siege vehicle is destroyed, and I am tossed out of the destroyed siege vehicle my camera keeps turning 180%'s non-stop. This bug keeps happening in any Epic BG that has siege vehicles.
    • Randomly I will not be able to build a siege vehicle / tank after talking to the NPC in Winter Grasp.
    • The angle of the siege vehicle’s weapon(s) trajectory does not line up with the angle of the front of the siege engine when the siege engine is on a slight incline.
    • After dying I can’t use the siege vehicle’s weapon abilities. They do not function when inside the vehicle.
    • The siege vehicle rockets players can pick up do not seem to track, or seek out siege “tanks” to destroy them, at all. I know the tool tip says, “attempts to”, but I’m not seeing any attempt to hit the siege “tanks” at this time. I’ve tried almost every angle too.

Noticed a lot of bugs myself.

Randomly wont be able to build vehicles despite their availability to my faction. if i sit there and try long enough it will eventually work.

Not being able to use the weapon in both the demo and siege machines is the worst though. Is this caused by dying? i havent noticed. but once it occurs it appears that it wont work again for the remainder of the bg.

I’ve noticed this as well. I can’t seem to pinpoint the cause of this issue. However it seems to happen almost every Epic BG from either dying, having your tank destroyed, etc…

I see your dc bugs and i raise you mine
Cant hit the main door, therefore, i cant win the damm thing.

Is so anoying cuz im breaking a wall for 5-7 min and then i try to hit the main door, NOTHING, not a single hit on the damm thing…

no love for this awesome bg :frowning:
