We need to scale back from the over reliance of this ability, not go further.

That would be cool, could move it over off an afterthought node and instead put it and some empowered nodes abd just remove faeline.

Mhmm I don’t see a problem with touch of death as a play style except it doesn’t scale very well. I think it adds some level of uniqueness to ww monks. If they did add empowered whirling punch node(s) I can see people moving away from that ToD build.

I would pick WDP any day over TOD if they tuned WDP right and made it worth pushing the button over SCK.

Agreed. I think it could play well into our current 4 pc and transfer of power if empowered whirling punch applied a damage taken debuff on all targets hit or something like that

It basically creates dead nodes for pvp and awkward/dead nodes for most raiding fights, if it was the legion version those nodes would make sense, but currently they just don’t

Yeah just take the place of faeline stomp basically, and give a cool dragon animation flowing through the enemies instead of the ballerina twirl

Maybe like a spinning back fist and a dragon shooting out of the fist that spins around the monk. Anything is fine as long as it doesn’t animation lock lol

Yeah basically this needs to be stopped for sure.

They could do something like this

Just shoot a dragon out; it goes through, up, and smashes back down.
And even have it “dmg is increased for every unique attack landed before it comes down”
So like if you get a tp, rsk, sck, fof, and a bok (core abilities) then you got maximum damage and goes into the whole fighter combo thing

I also really wish we would have gotten 7 sided strikes from diablo

7 sided strike could 100% easily replace the animation for FoF.

only problem is DH took it basically for blade dance.

I really wish fist of fury just looked better, just strange to see what amounts to a bunch of haymakers

It’s funny that every 4 fists on avg we’re doing damage once, doesn’t make sense.

If I remember correctly we used to actually hit more times in fists originally

Yeah we did, look at the fist going off it had some real big hits but a lot of small hits in it too

The big hits were FoF, the little hits were likely RJW and BoK dots. FoF hasn’t really changed how it works in regards to number of hits.

Bok dot maybe, but look at my buffs no rjw was up

Yeah, looks like the BoK dot and then the secondary hits on the other targets. If you look at the changelog on Wowhead it was always 5 hits; https://www.wowhead.com/spell=113656/fists-of-fury#changelog

I wish FoF was as satisfying as eye beam is. It just blooms numbers all over the place. FoF is like… trickle… trickle…tink
