Windows.
I love Linux but I don’t think I could switch to it, with all the programs I use.
Then my roommate plays it on Mac… and it runs WoW better than my computer.

Macs aren’t even good. Trying to come off as superior with inferior equipment. The irony.
A windows box will run circles around the typical Mac machine.
Haiku! Haha kidding, kinda. I use all 3 OSes regularly although technical problems preclude me from Windows 10 ATM.
Didn’t know WoW was fully playable in Linux through Wine and whatnot nowadays. That’s pretty cool.
I used a Mac for years and finally bought a “proper” gaming PC, thinking it might solve some of the weird bugs I’d had trouble with over time.
It didn’t. Now I wish I’d bought a new Mac, especially with the way BfA is.
I use linux 99% of the time. Use arch with KDE, but I have to boot into windows if I play overwatch… I can get it to running Linux but it plays like poo.
Once that gets resolved windows goes bye bye…
There’s about a 10% frames per second difference between the 2 with windows being higher …
There are a lot more than 7 Linux users on World of Warcraft. I’ve seen petitions in the past that have gotten up to several hundred. Even on Steam at least 0.80% of their users in November 2018 were Linux (up +0.08% from the previous month).
And unless Blizzard has some kind of monitoring software that can tell which user uses Windows and which uses wine, I don’t think they even know what their real number of Linux users are.
Yes, if you use a site that monitors web activity, you are going to see a lot of Windows and Mac as many people check their stuff at work on their work systems.
Linux is stable, secure, and with the creation of Vulkan and a few other new toys, it can run games natively very well. Sometimes even better than the Windows version.
OS: NeXTStep 17. I’ll let you figure it out (and no, I’m not entirely joking).
I’ve only ever played WoW on Windows and plan on keeping it that way.
Currently on Windows 10, but looking to change to Linux Ubuntu 18.04 which I am using on a virtual machine. I did some research recently and Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver and Wine are compatible. Just gotta set up Wine with a few command lines and then the installation of the executable for World of Warcraft.
Windows 10 will eventually become Software as a Service (SaaS) meaning you’ll be paying a subscription if you want to use Windows. On the other hand, Linux is all open source and more secure and does not force an update or reboots in the middle of a raid fight.
So, I’ll be making the switch in the first quarter of 2019.
Also, Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver will have an LTS (Long Term Service of ten (10) years so no upgrades until then, may have other patches along the way but I really like it.
Seven? Um, this list is growing so I would think there be more than seven.
OKAY OKAY.
Its like 9 now!
WIN V MAC V LINUX
I think you misspelled Sensible V Hipster V Edgy.
