Will you miss Korraks Revenge?

It’s been a nice leveling experience. Too bad it’s going away.

You can do a quest and then leave the BG, no need to suffer it the entire way through!

It’s just AV, old AV at that, ain’t no pro’s in there worrying about non-pvpers I promise. AV is about as PVE as it gets.

You spend more time killing NPC’s than anything else, regular AV is not much different really. :grinning:

You should come on over to the pvp side of things more often my friend, it’s always pretty chill in the larger bg’s.

I’ll miss it dearly, but no one is killing Korrak anymore
It’s ending quickly every time.

The current generation of gamers no longer have souls, all they care about is min-maxing as soon as possible. And we won’t ever change that, so well… let’s embrace it.

Anyway, the leveling experience is amazing, I’m seriously surprised Blizzard was able to hold down the fun police this time and allowed it to run for this long.

Honestly, I got what I needed out of it. So I was done anyway. AV is still there if people want to do it.

Love it for leveling. I have like 17 level 120’s now. I think I will miss it at some point, but not right now since I just spent like 2 hours in one Korrak’s and went from around 83-84 to 90. :crossed_swords: \o/ It was pretty epic but now I’m wore out. :joy: :timer_clock: :pirate_flag:

Unintended consequences of making the XP so good that one side employs the ‘Just let em win so we can reque faster’ strategy. It would be nice to see it added without extra bonuses so people that sign up do so to actually play the map.

i won’t miss getting farmed by horde being the fastest way to level, but i do find it ironic that alliance only discovered the back door into the relief hut in the last couple weeks and finally started to win some, and now it’s getting removed

Seems to check out! Why are you surprised?

What are you talking about? On this character its all 50% and up except for eye of the storm and twin peaks. Alliance wins way more in random bgs than korraks.

In the Korroks Leveling Bracket, I would agree.

In the 120 bracket, its about the same. 70-30 or 60-40

The way rewards worked made it an absolute disaster. It discouraged teamwork and encouraged destructive, sabotaging behavior.

They should have just gave the mount away for trying it and provided more documentation on how everything works.

Good riddance to it.

Checks out again!

i will miss the exp from it

After the first 3 times which were completely frustrating, even the 1 time that resulted in a win (and I still don’t know how that happened) I was like screw this place. I’d jump in, grind out some badges from the mines and exit. Repeat that 30-40 times. Got the mount.

It was ugly goat.

2-3 days later Blizz nerfed some stuff in it, but I was like don’t care, never doing it again.

People were rewarded for doing the wrong things and they’re was no info on what you should do.

Its was fun alliance did win not as much as horde. I leveled 15 alts to 120 on ally side. If you think about it the fast ques allys get is just as good as a win. I dont know why alot of peeps would nerd rage and leave bg. Mostly everyone there was there to level there alts. Which was great from blizzard with all that xp… Gave us a break from grinding xp other ways on alts… Was burning myself out grinding everyday doing same quest same run for yrs jajajja. This was a change… And fun

I got the Wolf mount and leveled the only toon I had on the backburner which was my old Monk. Didn’t play it since but I think it would be nice to throw it into the PvP Brawls cycle like I said in another thread.

I did it until I got the mount and never went back. Couldn’t even make myself level any alts in there. Of course, I don’t really enjoy PvP so there’s that.

Glad folks liked it though!

I hope they extend it for another week!

I’ve done a bunch of Korraks revenge. It was fun, except for the fact that alliance lost all the time.
