I normally play on Thursday Friday and sat evening since I have a wonky work schedule. Sun thru Wednesday 11am til 930 pm. Once I get a few things with my current home and work schedule worked out. I’ll reach out in game. I’m fixing to have a lot of work done at the house so it may affect my playtime.
But thank you for the offer
It depends on how big the difference is and we all know with blizz its going to be huge. Started playing an arms warrior the other day, check out the azerite abilities for arms warriors. One is amazing the rest of them are garbage. Its going to be azerite all over again. It didnt work in BFA and i highly doubt it will in shadow lands.
Considering that general is its own variety of casual that hates matchmaking and grouped content I feel like a majority of the replies to this thread won’t matter.
This is something that will be decided by the players at the extreme high-end and the players that lead pugs week after week.
You are assuming that people running higher level keys wont know which covenants are best. I list a 19 key and i have a hundred people sign up for it. There is going to be no waiting.
I want people to be happy or comfortable with the covenant of their choice. This is a game. It is not the army. It’s not a job.
If we can’t kill a boss, it’s not because of a covenant. It is because of individual mistakes that people must change.
In WOTLK the same thing happened with the GS.
People had items with the highest GS regardless of their stats.
Those same people were the first to say “are you going to bring that rogue? He only has 1 GS”
But with that single point of GS it had better stats than the others with 3000GS.
And the result was obvious.
Knowing how to use a class, their talents, different skills, and when to use them in a fight are what really make a difference.
Not a legendary or a covenant.
It’s still not a very useful question, since most of the people answering have never actually invited for a raid and don’t know what they would actually do. Most of the people who think they would be unselective end up being more selective the second time they invite for a raid.
That’s not a problem at all. There’s no reason for high end raiders to be forced to play with people who don’t have the same goals as them and vice versa.
if I’m going to be forced to pug someone if were ever down any I am 100% going to take the player with the best covenant for the content the only time I’d take a sub-optimal pug is if I had no other choice.
so again, flask, elixirs, enchants, gear all things that will cover that 1%(.5%) you’re all so pressed on.
Also, why is it you extra mediocre players are the most elite about stuff like this? I would understand if you were server first clearing and worldwide competitive, but ain’t no one flipping out y’alls mediocrity.
Long answer: It depends on the group I’m running and what my goals are for the group. If I’m running a learning run or a beer league run… then I don’t care what you’re using. Just have a good attitude. If I’m running content with the express purpose of succeeding… then… no… I expect you to put in the same level of effort I am to succeed. Otherwise… I’m just carrying you.
