I’d be in favor of a pug vs pug queue if they removed the honor. That way we can still guarantee only premades rank but every battleground will be a fair battle. And you don’t have to get stomped to get battleground reputation.

What? Everyone wants the endless stomps to end, and nobody wants pugs to be able to rank “seriously”, how does it not make sense?
If you do premades vs premades and pugs vs pugs you have to at least decrease pug honor by A LOT, in order to make sure premades are still getting more honor per hour. Otherwise they’d be making 10x the effort for the same results.

You are calling people who group up in an MMORPG cheaters? You queue up solo for 10-man content and you are shocked at the fact you’re losing. And I say this as someone who never ranks past 11 and hasn’t yet played a premade match (but certainly will in a couple of weeks). If you can’t set up some weekly time in your schedule and/or communicate enough to get a WSG premade going maybe you shouldn’t be playing an MMORPG.
You can’t solo your way to AQ40 gear, and you sure as hell can’t solo your way to Grand Marshal. Things are as they should be.

You are attempting to convince other people that you deserve similar honor per hour rates to people who organize a premade team, schedule around it, use consumables and optimize compositions. In an MMORPG. That is not reductionism, that is literally what you’re defending, you’ve exhausted all other alternatives, which are:
- Keeping things as they are
- Separating the queues, but giving pug queues considerably less honor
- Not allowing people to queue without a full group
If you accuse me of reductionism you will need to provide an alternative to those three that still keeps premades getting substantially more honor per hour than pug groups. You won’t do that, because what you actually want, though you try to obscure it because you know how absurd that position is, is to get the same honor per hour as people who are willing and able to organize themselves to a degree you can’t because you’d have to do more than just click the “Join Battle” button. You called premade groups “cheaters”, but they are just doing what is asked of them: putting effort into their composition, schedules and consumables in a way that maximizes their chances of winning a game at the expense of the other, less organized side.
To reiterate: you believe you deserve a similar winning percentage, and the associated reputation and honor per hour, to the winning percentage of people who have put way more thought and effort into their matches. I am asking you to defend that position, because to me it looks insane.

Folks who’re participating in pre-mades may very well choose their team. This could provid advantages in a number of ways… gear, consumables, type of mount and class/spec stacking.
Now, the idea that pre-made teams are always superior and “work harder” is crap. I’ve been in a number of battlegrounds where someone would link the pre-made disc and start giving out orders. One attempt would be made to execute the strategy. If that attempt was a failure, there would be a call to “let them win.”
This “max honor per our” crap can go. Anyone who thinks the game should be played with it in mind can go with it.
there’s an argument to be made that PUGs are the way MMOs are meant to be played. playing together with thousands of randoms is a lot more massively than playing with your small elite group.

People also only fought their own servers in original World of Warcraft…So are we gonna bring that back too because of “Spirit of Original World of Warcraft PvP” ?
Also if thats the case then why the PvP RP/Decay changes? Why some changes but when others are asked for we are told “We are sticking to original”. Not saying youre wrong for your choice but the choice of words was because if you were sticking to original then you wouldnt have done the 2x rp / decay.
Not even the AV premades??? Because you put a stop to that in Classic vanilla. Its painfully obvious you let a small group of people chose whats best for majority of the player base and its sad that you dont trust your players enough / have enough strength to let us pick a change via a voting system and then say 'You made your bed now lay in it"
If we chose something its our fault. You want people to be less mad at you and less toxic; let us make the choice. Then its our fault if we dont like it; not yours. Easy fix.
Think about how much PR / Form moderation money you would save from developing a voting system that lets us put forward Ideas and vote on them. The system is already in place just use forums and Hearts as a vote. Develop a realtime login screen banner that shows the top 5 voted systems right now so people know that its a thing and have a direct link to where they can vote. Then just add a “Disagree” button for voting. No comments outside maybe a designer / You Kaivax; once it reaches a 70% upvote to let us know its been chosen / How it needs to be changed to actually work in game (For example someone votes for Kara crypts and 99% of us want it, obviously we would be told it wouldnt be new models or anything and would be spells already in game with new mechanics on how to deal with them). Disagree button doesnt have to be toxic either just make it a shrug emote and a heart emote for agree.
Then make us wait each season for changes. No mid season changes; im fine with that.
Season 2; 2x Rp regular Decay, No premades for example. But this season we deal with the bed we made and lie in it.
Bottom line is Activision Blizzard is not Blizzard. They are money hungry corporation who minimizes cost and maximizes earning. Blue poster is just their mouth no real philosophy of making anything good for players to enjoy. That is my we now have retail, basically garbage, just like the company itself. Activion and Blizzard is just milking good old classic, nothing more.
