Obviously you’ve never seen those Stus/Sues in fan fiction that act like edgy jerks but still get their boots licked clean by everyone around them coz OMG SOOOO COOL. Seems to fit Nathanos pretty well. Mary Sues/Gary Stus come in many different forms.

Hey, that’s pretty good! Your character is nowhere near a Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t ever-so-slightly bland! Try and make them slightly more ‘exciting’. Just not too much, or else you’ll have a perfect character on your hands!

There may be perceived different forms to Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu Tropes, but the concept is quite static, really.

I did the same quiz and got almost 50% (just below it), and then did another one and got “Borderline Sue”.

I guess it depends on your interpretation of the character. I mean, I answered yes to the questions about a main character lusting after him coz I think Sylv wants to jump his bones, you might not have. That sort of thing. It’s also kinda hard to do it when you’re not the character’s actual creator, lol.

I’m really torn on whether the Alliance is gonna lose Shaw, Flynn or Wyrmbane, but Shaw seems most likely.

You know? We may be able to find a loophole here. Since Nathano’s has already been killed once, maybe his previous death was traded in already. We’ll have to check with one of the lawyers in Dal the Shadowblades are comfortable with, I spose.

Until we know for sure, I agree its best not to act.

Please kill off inserted character he was fine in Legion but holy moly he is literally the definition of mary sue I would trade with Manduin and Jaina

This after all the effort to make him look like someone let alone grace him with a new model compared to his better rotting forsaken one killing him off is the last thing I see happening to Nathanos.

Its not a proper expansion if we can’t kill off Horde leaders.

As much as I like him as an idea, I’d definitely like to see him killed. If for no other reason than to push Sylvanas over the edge.

Nathanos spent the entirety of Legion and BfA (so far) whining about the worgen (who have every reason to want to kill Sylvanas) and sneering at my mage.

Like, dude… you went from a raid boss to a glorified hunter trainer, and only feel good because your undead lover made you a new body.

The people you’re grumbling at to “not waste your time” have literally stood toe-to-toe with gods and world-ending dragons. Where were you when I was shooting fireballs at Deathwing?

Oh right, in the Undercity, not even telling new hunters how to Aimed Shot, because they learn it all on their own now.

Let them keep Genn. He at least has depth and isnt paragon good.

I would totally trade Sylvanas for Jaina though. Both could die and the story would be better for it.

Huh… the last fight of BoA is him getting ice blocked and having to depend on the champion to break him out. How is that showing strength?

The way they are writing Nathanos is that he will have to decide between his loyalty and love for Sylvanas, or what’s best for the Horde. Very likely he’ll be given the whole redemption concept

Hopefully him and sylvanas will never be heard from again after bfa. Sick to death of both of them, which is saying something considering how short of a time we’ve had nathanos around compared to sylvanas.
