Will Medium population servers survive?

Chaos bolt is more than fine. I have an alt in lone wolf and it feels very similar. Actually the community seems better on cb

I can only hope. On Lava Lash and tired of having to fight other players for the chance to kill a mob

Don’t lie. My toons are on Lava Lash and it’s nothing like that.

it is for me. Way too many people there.

I honestly wish I could pay fora private server for my friends and I…

Yes, they will die. Fair shot CS does as well, in a similar fashion to fairlina in p5.

But they said server xfers would happen, blizz lies to our face 24/7 though so grain of salt.

No it isn’t.

yes it is. Had another warrior curse me out simply for turning in a quest he had to wait for

sorry you need 10 million other people to feel like there are players. I dont like lining up waiting for kills

No, it isn’t.

This aren’t permanent realms, so why does it even matter what happens “long term”? We’re going to have our toons wiped at the end of SOD.

Chaos Bolt is fine. Every zone is full of people, chat channels are active, ect. All this doom and gloom is blatant trolling.

yes. RP servers will always have people on them. Just because its not a mega server doesn’t mean that its going to die. I honestly don’t understand these takes. Vanilla wow wasn’t meant to have 10k on a server.

Thats not true. They said they will find something else for us to do with them if there is enough people who want to continue.

Our guild runs 4 raids every lockout. Probably more once we do another stint of recruiting at the start of phase 2. I think the major guilds on these servers will be just fine.

They were fine on Deviate Delight at first as well. Until they weren’t. Until doing a stint of recruiting slowly became more and more impossible as you realized the well from which you could recruit was steadily drying up. Until suddenly you logged in to find more and more of your guild was raid logging, and then not even bothering with THAT anymore.

Like I said multiple times in this thread, Chaos Bolt IS fine right now. You guys have 4000 active raiders still, and probably at least 6k players.

But those 4000 raiders are already split into two groups to begin with thanks to the game factions. And those 2000 Horde and 2000 Alliance can dwindle fast.

Its not right now or even in Phase 2 that I or OP are worried about. Its 9 months from now when we’re reaching Phase 4.

Sounds like crusader strike propaganda.

A lot of people are done for phase 1 and see little point in raid logging for BFD. The server population in medium population servers may improve when phase 2 begins. I hope so.

I know in my guild most people are interested in new content and 10 mans - and have little interest in end game other than a new 10 person raid at 60 and ZG - running old 40-man content in overpowered toons has amusement value but other than that not a lot of interest. A number of people I have spoken to are the same. Equally there is a significant population in larger guilds planning for the usual end game. I think that’s when medium pop servers will definitely hit a brick wall.

The sad demise of DD was rough, you are sadly correct. If you plan to raid deep into naxx, make your choice accordingly.

Pennance AU will survive to the end of SoD simply because we don’t have any other option.

They will not survive. Transfers aren’t an option in SoD so this is going to be a problem when the inevitable comes.

Better reroll now.

I doubt it, if streamers didnt flock to the one rp-pvp server, a single rp-pvp would probably have a decent population of normal players. But both other rp servers have pretty low pops currently and likely wont get much better unless for some reason a huge influx comes in p2.

I have a char on chaos bolt, but it likely wont be great long term.
