I have a feeling the botting in dungeons (messing with all crafting) is a bigger issue. And mage has a hard cap on aoe to be fair.

I have friends who live inside that thing your fine if youre not using crap to auto it

When I got a 6 month suspension out of nowhere last year on my main account (out of 3) The only clue I got was chatting live with a GM: “use as few addons as possible” Soo yea it is possible. People like you just excuse it every time with “they’d just break it!”
Claiming no bans were issued for [blank] is on its face false. They dont tell you what exactly they ban/suspend you for, nor do they get everyone who uses ANY addon/bot/bug, so you can never truely know unless Blizzard publicly says “[blank] is fine to use”
(and no i had no automation/bot stuff aside from widely used “automation” like accepting invites/resses etc) Didnt even make sense. ONLY my MAIN account. I didnt even have someone with fishing or max mining and had just barely gotten my newest toon max herb.
I gave up w/ appeals after like #6 when they gave my battle.net account a complete game/website 3 day suspension.
edit: btw what is this “auto loot” addon ppl are talking about? A couple of my addons have “faster loot” whatever that is. I still have to go corpse to corpse tho ( and have the game’s auto loot on)
Pretty much everyone that I know who got banned were either using Leatrix Fast Loot (which is against the ToS as it uses an unintended workaround in the API to speed up looting even more than regular autoloot) or have received dirty gold from boosties…

Wait… I have Leatrix Plus and have that fast loot thing enabled… That’s against ToS? How tho? Sure as hell wasnt aware… definitely turning that off now!!! Think I used to have a couple addons that did it. Dont really see how something so simple would do it tho. Wouldnt call it “Botting/Automation” either like the msg I got.
It’s a soft cap… It still hits all the mobs. Druid swipe has a hard cap of 3 mobs and will not hit any others
This is the likely cause
No you will not get banned.
You will think you found a path prefer a circle that gives you the most kills.
Your bags fill you go sell.
Now here is why you don’t get banned.
That path will be different every time you run that circle.
You will get distracted which will make you move different.
You take breaks log off.
I have been farming for 13 years. Back than farming made me gold lots of gold.
Figured to many players making and gathering. Farmed for rare drops that took hours to weeks.
Been whispered to that I am a bot, cheater, gold buyer and will be reported to many times to count.
Not once was I banned.
What ever you are looking for good luck.
Don’t forget to put the greens and blues in the AH that you don’t want.
