Actually at that point the question is… are the morons standing in bad? Are they doing dumb crap that got them killed like not waiting for aggro or watching threat meters and using aggro dumps…
If the answer is yes to any of these… then you are fine… if the answer is no then you need to swap specs.

It is true. Consider yourself lucky you have the opportunity to do anything in pve with a pvp spec as others are carrying you.
The only reason these meme specs are somewhat viable atm is because the fights are so short. As soon as they start lasting longer performance will go from the lower end of the meters to the bottom as you are oom before the fight ends.
I stand by my statement because you cannot control others. You can only control yourself and what you personally decide to do or not do COULD make the difference.
Sheesh… the point is it doesn’t matter how you’re speced if some idiot pulls aggro on a boss and gets one shot… there is nothing your spec can do…
If you’re standing in rain of fire and taking 1k damage every second and you have 3k health… it doesn’t matter if I have mana tide totem talented… you are going to die…

It’s useless for DPS, too, as there are so many factor’s outside of one’s capability to press the right buttons at the right time that determines overall raid offensive output.
The difference between unbuffed DPS warrior and raid buffed DPS warriors are insane to the point where they’re not even in the same ballpark. Playing meter PvP doesn’t work in Classic PvE because of so many background variables, on top of the abundance of RNG, and the simplistic rotation of every class. There are many things that contribute to raid throughput that can’t be gleamed from meters.
Our guild has one enhancement shammy and Ele. Rest are restro. Depends on the guild you get into and such. Ours tends to be happy with our feral dps, another feral tank. As well our shammys. Buffs shammy brings to the table too are amazing. Our ele shammy and enhancement shammys have healing sets to throw on progression stuff but since we have stuff on farm they’ve been smashing faces and pew pewing.
