Will Blizzard Unlock Void Elf

They're buffing the Legion faction rep gains.

So the answer is no. You'll still have to grind for it.

When are they doing that?
In the upcoming patch 8.1 called tides of vengeance. Rep gains from broken isles will be increased by I believe 50℅?
I hope not. I spent the time to unlock the race and get the heritage armor, others should commit like I did if they want it all

They recently just upped the amount of rep you get from the legion world quests, didn't they? I'd think they'd be waiting to see how that goes and if it was enough.

I'd be surprised if suddenly they removed the rep requirements entirely, but stranger things have happened.
I’m new I just started last week, so I’m not sure! I’ve been grinding rep since I’ve started and I’m still not close :(
you've racked up 2083 posts in a week? maybe spend less time on the forums and more time in game then

Wrong
No.

Stop being lazy and go earn your Allied Races like everyone else.
They're already free, as long as you have BfA. You just have to play the game to earn them, earning rewards in games by playing them is normal for almost all games.

I think that is coming in 8.1 but I could be wrong.
See they already did.
Poof
...
Nah, you gotta do it like the rest of us.
With sweat on your brow and a little elbow grease

Nope.

They have already said they are increasing the rep gains instead in 8.1.
When is 8.1?

Haven't seen a date released for it yet, but they might announce it during Blizzcon. And yeah, the rep grind is a PITA. I wish they'd lower the rep required for it, but they will be upping the rep received in 8.1, its just a matter of hanging tight and waiting. (None of which are my favorite words to use, by the by).

I do find it annoying you have make allaince character to 110 to unlock them.

I had heard that you could create a trial character and do it with them. Is that not the case?
It's how they get you to play longer. Time gating everything is not going away so you'll have to put the work in.

Blizzcon is this weekend, do you think they will unlock void elves and the other allied races for free? Instead of grinding rep?

No.
Nope, they have plans for increased rep options but the race still will require effort to unlock them. Whether or not if we agree with the direction, it is the one the company is doubling down on.

Yeah I have all of the allied races so far except DID because Dwarves are hideous and because I haven't levelled my alliance toons yet and It would be a slap in the face to have devoted so much time to earning them for them to remove all the work I did.

I think if they were going to do that at least make the feat of strength no longer obtainable
They are doubling the rep from Legion WQ in 8.1
