Will blizzard BAN GDKP and Raidfinder in MOP?

There are currently 2 options if you want to kill heroic rag - try to join a sweaty guild who’s going to require huge amounts of dedication or gdkp, this will only be worse in mop and removing gdkp is only going to let the top 10% actually see mythic garrosh

Lol GDKPs the pay to win solution.

The GDKP thing… going to be honest… as long as they are slinging WOW Token its probably in their best interest to not mess with it. Most solidified GDKP groups probably don’t have a ton of token andy’s in them but it only makes sense to scoop where you can. If you notice in the newer versions where they don’t sell the token is where it is banned.

LFR is tricky. On one hand people say it kills the social fabric of the game, but GDKP kind of sinks the guild situation in the same way. Also, going forward after Dragonsoul, LFR becomes a pretty big pillar of the game until later expansions. MOP without LFR would have a rancid catchup process for the cloak quest for example. Imagine your friend comes back and you have to clear all those old raids for them again. Yuck.

Yep.

And by legion gdkp was gone. Carries came in. group loot made this harder to pull off. As group loot rules started to add rules. So retail is more about carries. Fill a quest need, get a mount, or its the raiderio fixer.

Remove lfr…watcht the carry market shoot up,up up.

LFR is where casuals closed out order hall crap. You did not give 2 craps about the gear. You needed like 30 items from EN (emerald nightmare). 2-3 runs over a few weeks. This was to make blue dragon dude happy to move on to next story bit.

Remove LFR, pay the heroic shooting for mythic guild for a normal carry will happen alot. The order hall mog hunters just want the mog from story end.

and mythic guilds will take in 5 dudes paying say 50K each to avoid guild flower picking nights for the consumes. take carrier fees, buy off AH and done.

Lol why reward the players who choose to quit? FORCE them to do the work that everyone else had to do.

I would laugh at them and tell them this was there own fault. Then i would help them. That is part of the game.

Legion isnt happening!!!

It has a 50/50 chance. it was the apology expac many said apology accepted. then we got BFA’d…blizzard never learns lol.

WoD would be the same too though. Guilds won’t be be doing farm nights. they will be running tanaan jungle rep and climbing trees to find chests to fly lol.

Don’t forget the player base drops significantly with each new expansion for classic.

Its like when you, specifically you, look in the mirror… you point at your reflection… and yell why is that person retarded…

and the universe replies… because its you…

enjoy the vacation!!!

I would say Legion is pretty likely imo… they played it off pretty “you know where its going” with MOP…

Of course it depends on how well MOP does… then how well WOD does… and it also probably matters how well classic classic does too… because lets be real if a million people are playing that and no one is playing either of the next 2… it looks like thats the cycle breakpoint…

No, they should leave gdkp alone before it starts turning into how mop actually was where people were paying real money for most things like guild carries or challenge modes. Also would completely kill my drive to play mop, they are making these changes elsewhere they don’t need to adapt it to other versions.

i thought boosting wasn’t a thing anymore with the way they removed the xp if a high level was in the group.

see im fine with LFR, IF they do the way they did in WOD. Tier sets that were specifically tailored to LFR only. It would be cool if they made LFR loot tailored only to LFR. but i doubt they’d put that much effort in. just look at cata.

LFR is really just another thing you can do in the game…

Or you can not do it…

In the end it doesnt matter much. People just big deal it for some reason.

LFR is not needed tho espeically in cata. All it will do is make it a requirement and guilds will run guild runs in LFR and need on EVERYTHING like they did the first time around to get people 4pc and trinkets for there main raiders.

I mostly agree in Cata it isn’t that big of a deal. Although what you describe was mostly an early patch problem in Cata. Was improved in later expansions as well. It could be easily fixed, but I know that means time and effort have to be put in and well… we know how that usually lands.

It isnt needed nor is it wanted in cata. Besides the fact that blizz will most likely add heroic loot to the vendors for doing heroic ++ dungeons when DS launches so that adds even more reasoning why LFR isnt needed.

I understand your opinion is the only one in the universe that matters, along with your… “friends” but I seriously doubt most people even really care. If it was there I would just never que. That’s about the jist of it. I am not a big fan of it, but at the same time I don’t pretend to press it upon everyone else.

No, go to fresh, era, sod, hardcore… you have options.

As for Raid finder… we will see come Dragon Soul.

Eh, LFR does effect everyone with its existence. As will flex (renamed normal later) in MoP if it is implemented.

One of the major issues of retail is ilvl bloat, and that comes from having four different difficulties as opposed to 1/2.
