Well said. I hadn’t thought of WoW being in the Long Tail phase of its’ life, it totally makes sense though.
How about they fix legacy scaling

This, its sad when the most exciting thing in wow is the rerelease of old content.
Blizzard is just to far disconnected to see what their fans want, and to arrogant to admit they screwed something up.

blizz lost the plot a long time ago. around legions end.
I’m not speaking for anyone but myself. I plan on taking an extremely long break from wow. Not just because wow is suffering terribly but because I’m beginning to get hooked on other games. For me that is the saddest part of my wow journey.
Wow has always been that game I would daydream about. Not anymore
The moment we lost our artifact weapons for no good reason is when the game took its nose dive. The time they took that whole borrowed power system and threw it in the trash to replace it with literal trash in BfA

Not everyone cares to do raids and dungeons. Know a lot of players who could care less about those things. They would much rather have world experience instead of grind for nothing, raids, dungeons. I get it the primo stuff is from raid and dungeons and don’t expect to get that stuff but as someone who doesn’t and won’t do them, it would be nice to be able to get some decent stuff in another manner such as a long quest or such. Many of us are not hard-core players but are very long-timers and we are steady players. Not flash in the pan like many who play and run through everything as fast as they can and then ok I’m done and quit. I would think WOW would be very interested to keep such steady long-time players happy and continue playing. The dungeon Masters can have their dungeons and we get our world

They had an “Emergency High Elf for the Alliance” button and spilled coffee on it so it only gave void elves skin tone changes. So. I don’t know what they could have had beyond that
Watching Blizzard dust off their TCG assets has me wondering how far they will go.
You know what would work? Imagine doing the SoD raid in 9.1 only to have Sylvanas pull the ENOUGH gag right at the end of near death and attempt to flee only to get trapped by a figure from the shadows. Who could it be??? ITS FREAKING ARTHAS BABY! He power slides her face right into his blade (he’s wielding Ashbringer for some reason) and she gets impaled.
Now THAT would save the expansion.

I’m sure you do know a lot of players that do that but the numbers say that dungeons and raids brought the people into play not outdoor content
Housing, but that’s a whole other topic.
Remove lockouts on ALL old content. Let people freely farm mounts/xmog. Let people run previous tier raids for catchup gear all day. Let people get soul ash up to current week cap like they do with conquest.
Bring back mage tower.
inb4 a bunch of crying white knights come in and say it took them 4 years to get invincible, well guess what, you ran it 1200+ times to get it to drop, whats to say it doesn’t take some guy 2000 runs over 6+ months to get it?
Time waiting is not time spent earning.
