This is a bit off topic, but i’m a little curious, why people love these internet personalitys? Like swifty etc and Athene? Not even the twitch type. Just a guy who was good at the game, so why do people love em?

Cus when i was a kid, you know Hero worship was more so for those WW2 Vet’s a armless Nam guy’s you’d see on the street’s, like the things they did and seen, that was respectable, or even your normal blue collar guy who came over here from Poland and tried to make it.
I mean did the whole hero worship thing change? Am i missing something?
