Will 8.2 be enough to carry us over till classic?

Agreed. I am running low level alts through Classic dungeons. Of course, those dungeons have been pushed into easy mode but it’s some nostalgia. Doing alts to look at the new pretty races. WoW is pretty - but it’s an empty shell. Otherwise, doing some miniature painting while I wait for Classic. And yes, watching Mr. Asmongold

Well said. It’s almost a life lesson - not that we need it - on the perils of eye candy as a substitute for substance.

Currently playing Everquest TLP server. I figure if I play that for a couple months, coming to classic will be like going from Classic to BfA.

Probably not. I feel like a lot of people here don’t care about BFA

Depends on whether or not I can be bothered expending the energy to raid this tier.
The 2 new zones should keep me focussed until I unlock flying, then it’s anyones guess, I actually need to look into how to get the new mounts before making a guess myself.

Having lots of fun in BfA right now, and I will keep playing it even when Classic launches. I’m not having any troubles waiting for the release date.

If you didn’t like BFA then it’s doubtful that you’ll enjoy the new patch as it’s really more of the same. I’m fine with it and will keep playing up to Classic. If I didn’t enjoy BFA I’d probably be playing some older games like Tropico, Warcraft 2 and 3 or Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. I never get tired of those games

It isn’t perfect but it’s better than nothing until Classic.

I am enjoying azshara myself. I am also catching up on gear I was lacking due to not playing BFA for like 3 months of this expansion. Which makes pvp more balanced.

10 min into new patch with free 3 day sub gift and saw what I didn’t miss --bounties in wow-logged off.

If you’re eager for classic, you didn’t need to wait for Blizzard. Private servers have been hosting it for many years. I’ve played classic for over twice as long as Blizzard has even hosted it. I haven’t played retail since 2011. I routinely said that until they did older versions, I’d never go back. Cataclysm ruined the game enough for me. I don’t ever want to play that awful version again, or anything newer. There’s no pandas in my warcraft.

The real question is, will Classic carry me over until Elder Scrolls 6.

Short answer: Absolutely not, they haven’t fixed anything from 8.0 or 8.1 the game is a boring timegated repgated hollow and meaningless pokemon pet battles garrison facebooks shadow of a game that classic will absolutely obliterate out of the water

Nope, because the modern game sucks and I don’t know why people play it. Every patch is virtually the same thing: throw out some catch up mechanics and a daily island where nothing changes doing the same loot grind while also leveling up an artifact. Don’t even get me started on the terrible class design. Blizzard Failed Again.

Can’t believe people not liking 8.2. it’s so good. They added legion like zones. Feels so alive. See you all at mythic Azshara.

8.2 lasted about 2 weeks for me, finished pathfinder and can’t bring myself to go back to those zones every day just so I can farm mana pearls to upgrade catch up gear.

The new raid will be cool but I don’t see myself grinding in order to get there. Add on to that having to grind azerite for minor traits and it’s even more of a no for me dawg. Might pvp a little and kill rust feather a couple more times but meh.

I’d be more concerned that the Bethesda of Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls: Blades will be doing ES6, instead of the Bethesda that did Skyrim or Oblivion.

Hearthstone and Nintendo Switch (Mario Maker 2, Dragon Quest Builders 2 [came out today] and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 next Friday).

They gave me 3 free days of BFA, so I logged back in. Ran through camps of mobs, AoE’d everything down easily… and yea I’m reminded of how much I hate modern WoW. If I try mowing groups of mobs like this in Classic, I die. I miss having danger in the world.
