Why you making wotlk so unfriendly to alts

Your army of alts is not blizzards nor our problem honestly.

Most of the time leveling is spent running from zone to zone, when you skip entire zones you do not have to waste hours and hours of running around. Maybe, you should actually think about how leveling actually works and not just look at raw % XP increases and look at how much time is saved by skipping areas and not having to do long runs.

bro wotlk has heirlooms and is like 95% raid logging wdym its not alt friendyl

Thatā€™s quite bold to say that ā€œmostā€ of the time leveling is spent on travel.

Even if you factor in skipping a zone or two here or there, which in all reality you canā€™t, thereā€™s no way it equates to a 3-4x faster leveling pace. Thereā€™s no way that travel time takes up that much of the leveling experience.

Blizz themselves already said that they want quests to feel easier because youā€™re slightly over-leveledā€¦ they donā€™t want you to skip entire zones because youā€™re that over-leveled.

Unless you are a hardcore min/maxer, youā€™re still going to see most zones regardless.

Honesty itā€™s pretty easy to test this right now. Someone just needs to level a new toon and see how much faster it is.

OP is talking about the state of alt leveling during WotLK (the original one being a very alt friendly expansion) and your response is ā€œmake and level every potential toon you could want ahead of time in a very short boosted EXP time period that will only exist BEFORE Wrath actually launchesā€.

Or justā€¦ level normally?

People are so lazy I swear. Itā€™s really not that hard to level. Or bad.

People are just slow and inefficient.

I did 25-60 last week with no XP buff no rested absolutely zero boosting.

Itā€™s really not that hard lol.

The time period during pre-patch you can level whatever alt you want to 70 very fast. The increased damage, the access to mounts earlier, and the XP buff you can easily get there.
Then when Wrath launches, the heirlooms take that spot.

People are crying over nothing. RDF didnt come about until ICC, there was over a year without RDF and people thought it was amazingly alt friendly. On top of that, you can just pay blizzard for an alt that is most of the way leveled. I really do not see the issue here. You could easily have multiple max level characters by now ready to go for wrath if you choose to, then easily level them in wrath 70-80. But people would rather complain on the forums than actually play the game.

They arenā€™t saying itā€™s hard, theyā€™re saying that itā€™s boring and Blizzard is removing or severely hampering the other reasonable methods of doing it.

Iā€™ve always hated questing, I just had RDF to get around it by spamming out dungeons. Before that it was something I did once and only once and then quit when Iā€™d accomplished what I wanted to do instead of level another toon.

Get the rested XP guideā€¦ itā€™s a breeze. Step by step itā€™s all laid out.

1-60 in 2 days 10 hours.

Itā€™s really not that bad.

I can appreciate that some people like it, thatā€™s fair. But no amount of ā€œItā€™s really not that badā€ is enough to make me want to bother doing 60+ hours of chores to get to the fun part of the game (IMO).

Something is going to have to give at some point, because I donā€™t see the current rush of activity in low level dungeons lasting past the life of the xp buff. At which point weā€™ll be back to no one bothering or someone finding some degen boosting method that takes over the game again.

Rdf should be in the game for 1-68 in wotlk.

Just my opinion.

Bruh, just play the game.

Agreed, but at this point thereā€™s nothing really left to do but wait and see how things shake out. Points on both sides have been made over and over again, the only thing that actually matters though is how much money Blizzard makes or doesnā€™t make.
