Hey guys, I’ve been feeling the love of Enhance lately and for those of you who main it and have so for sometime why do you enjoy it in what aspect, shape and or form? me personally I enjoy not only the way it feels gameplay wise but, kinda the fantasy around it and the way we operate.
Windfury procs is the coolest thing from the game.
I want ENH to perform every seasons but even when its tier C it’s what i always plays.
I been healer in wow for a long time and ENH was the only DPS spec I also really enjoy because we always have a nice healing toolkit its not Rare that i finish BG o r arena and my DPS and healing are the same numbers.
Nice dude, feel the same way especially the C tier part even if it’s not great I’m still playing it
its a class with lot of RNG , Stormbringer , Thorim proc , Windfory procs , sometime RNG is in your side and it feels great man and super hero , sometimes its just not.
Playing Enhance in DF was probably the best time I’ve had playing WoW. It’s tough but once you get it down it offers some of the most satisfying gameplay. Unironically a 4-D chess spec.

I love the fantasy of controlling wind and lightning and earth. And just being a little rage filled dwarf wildly swinging magical hammers around.
It’s just a really unique thing because we are the only class that actually alters our weapons.
It feels epic. It sounds epic. And when those procs like up … you feel like a giant wind and lightning laser beam just melting stuff
Edit: plus I’ve always loved weapon imbues. Shields like earth shield, and now we have skyfury :-). Sometimes I wish we had choices with weapon imbues instead of a set two. It’d be neat if they could bring some of those back as options for niche situations … I realize this complicate things … but I always loved shaman for It’s options.

The cool stuff orbiting them! What class is that ?!”
It just checks so many boxes for me.
- It’s a melee spec so I get to enjoy those sweet smashing and slashing attack animations.
- It’s got wolves. I love wolves.
- It can off heal or swap to heal spec. I like healing and even as a dps off healing makes me happy.
- It’s got a cool theme. Warrior who is imbuing their weapons with elemental power and can commune with the spirits.
- Versatile toolkit with lots of utility

When I first tried out Enhancement, I didn’t like it. This was back in Legion and at that point I had only been playing Elemental. I thought that since it was a melee spec, that it would be stronger standing toe to toe with enemies. I soon learned that Enhance is just as squishy as Elemental, but you fight in melee.
So I gave up on it. I didn’t go deeper into trying to understand how to play it. I was like I’m getting smashed all the time, I’m out!
I didn’t try it again until late BfA. I saw a video of a guy named Waves doing Horrific Visions as Enhance and it made Enhancement look amazing. So I decided to try it again with the intent of actually learning how to play the spec. And that’s when it clicked for me. I was like “oh, so maelstrom stacks makes your spells stronger and cast faster, and can even be 100% stronger and instant. Cool!”. Then I fell in love with the visuals and sound effects.
So I love the mechanics, the theme, and the way it feels to play, even though there’s a lot of RNG. It feels really good when it all comes together in your favor.

I’m a Pianiast IRL, so whats better than getting to play the Piano while I play my favorite game, Worlds of Warcrat.
Melee combat feels more exciting and heroic, but Warcraft is such a magic-rich setting that it really feels like you’re missing out on something by playing a warrior or rogue. Enhancement Shaman does a great job of combining the two and, to me at least, gives off a really strong “main character” vibe.

Yes dude this 100% agreed with theirs something someone once said that they said Enhance is like a battle mage and that really stuck with me

what u talking about? was nothing better than seeing a tornado around ur body and that meant big damage
im old i dont need cool graphics …
I see the combat logs and it makes me happy ,
you know I’m kind of a programmer so … the LOG is all i need to make me happy.

I love storm/lightning magic, melee with decent ranged, good healing as dps and lotsa different procs to react too and love having an epic knockback with Thunderstorm blasting enemies off ledges in pvp and locking targets down with Lightning Lasso…

I haven’t played enhance on prepatch but it was really fun in s3 and s4. I felt like I could go toe to toe with any spec except good rogues. No dampening in BG blitz so self healing is actually a great survival tool. In hoping it remains at least low key good in TWW.
I don’t know that I love enhancement, but it’s probably as close as we’ll ever get to a battle-mage build in WoW so I appreciate that it’s here.
