Horde 1.0 and man’ari both tried to genocide. Matter of fact, it would make more sense for the orcs and man’ari to join forces since they were on the same side at one point and it makes no sense for the man’ari and the Draenei to say “oh yeah we’ll just forget the last 10,000 years that you chased us down and tried to murder us.’
But whatevs. It’s the new Blizzard and their new motto is “what lore?”
I did. The heritage questline(which happens after) mentions few Man’ari are actually allowed in Azeroth and generally are heavily escorted by draenei.
Like Velen(and the rest of the draenei and the Alliance etc) havent forgiven them(maybe someday they will who knows). They are however allowed their path to redemption and actually helping the world.
Also, Velen is just a relatively a forgiving guy. He even mentions he forgave the Horde back in Garrosh’s trial.
Actually you might have considering the text will only be present if you do it as a Man’ari.
What have you and the other Penitents been doing?
For the time being, we are aiding the krokul and lightforged on Argus. Few have been allowed to serve the draenei here on Azeroth.
I personally evaluate every Penitent and vouch for them on my own life, so it is not a matter of distrust.
Rather, it is that we have no desire to distress the draenei with our open presence. They are aware of the hand the Prophet has extended to us, but that does not erase what we did to them.
Main difference between the two were orcs turned on their corruptors, the man’ari more or less remained loyal and complicit until outsiders killed their leaders for them.
