Then how about we teach people how to be responsible on the internet and stop coddling them. Just like in the real world there are consequence to your actions. You put a nude pic out there and then get shocked that Jimbob knows about your mole on your butt cheek. And yes there should be consequence for the people who sent the pictures around. But that dose not take away from personal responsibility you hold for putting the picture in the wiled in the first place.

I have looked for the story and cant find it, the only reference is in the lawsuit itself. It doesn’t give a reason, it just said she committed suicide while on a trip with her supervisor, it never stated why. Please provide a link that specifically states these things.
What ever the reason, its a terrible thing. But parroting unconfirmed stories is also a terrible thing.

It’s different this time.
We need to keep the pressure on, this issue is far too important, helping women towards equality in workplace and game benefits not just the women themselves, but everyone, we need to get this right, this is why we need to push for positive reforms, and Blizzard is already making some changes which is a step in the right direction,
But we need to make a bigger effort as players to call out our mates when they say blatant sexist things, I am not talking about people having opinions, but the men outright saying terrible downgrading things towards women, we all know a lot of these men do exist in this game, of course it’s not just about us the players, we do need to do our part,
But of course a lot of this is about Blizzard’s reputation over the past 3 years has been tarnished pretty bad, I think the whole thing started when they started massive layoffs, I’ve heard this year, that they hired Bush and Trump era government officials, now on one hand I think diversity is good and hiring people from all wakes of life is good, but as much as I hate to get political, for a company that claims to care about the welfare of women, dare I say that conservative parties around the world have a clear woman problem, I think everyone knows that deep down.
I mean consider this, conservative typically known for their anti-abortion stance, but I know from my personal experience women close to me that had abortion and they turned out into amazing people, as much as I hate to say it, abortion should always be an option, especially if you make a dumb mistake when you are young by sleeping with someone that’s commitment shy, sometimes it can make it much easier to have a healthy relationship when you are not forever tied to the wrong person through a kid, not saying single parents can’t have great relationships of course, but these are just the issues you have to think about when you bring in people to your company that are part of a political movement that doesn’t care too much about women’s rights,

We don’t need people on this forum making conspiracy theories.
We have protected women from having to go to war (so our countries aren’t over taken by commies) so they can have the freedom to fight for equality. It isn’t about equality anymore because the receptionist wants the same wages as the ceo.
More specifically women from Australia where wages are legislated and monitored by the government so all humans are paid at a minimum for a specific role and the rest is negotiation. Wage gap does not exist in Australia and doesn’t discriminate. People will have annual pay reviews and gain certain % based on their performance and ROLE.
Does that mean feminism isn’t important? Of course not, equality needs to maintained. When we go to war, will be stand side by side and fight because that is what their asking for. When a marriage ends, all assets will be split 50/50 and children will have the opportunity to see both their parents equally. Women will have to pay alimony if the man has full rights to the kids and will face legal consequences just like males do. They will need to pay child support just like males do. If we’re going to be equal, let’s actually make it equal, because that’s what feminism is asking for. When both sexes commit a crime, they are both subject to the same penalty. They don’t get to pick and choose the good parts, they need to take it all.

In other words, if you a woman you are going to get paid less, as your ‘negotiation’ for equal wages to your male counterparts is going to fall on deaf ears.
