Was dueling a ret tonight that I had bested so totally in the past they asked me to go easy on them… Lets just say they didnt think it was an issue tonight x_x

To be fair though the prior iteration of ret wasn’t that hard to beat. All you had to do was ams the burst and then just keep hitting the ret, after Bubble they will flop.
PvE feels fine. They reduce ret brust damage to more constant. Nerf that and mind as well undo the changes

Yea, but an 8 second bubble when the average fight length is 30 seconds is a LONG time to be untouchable… And now with added PUNCH!

They only did it to get retired paladins to resub. After they got the money they nerfed it back down to earth.

Lets be clear, these are nerfs for the 1 shot meta in pvp… Not PVE…
People are crying that this is a PVE nerf somehow.

Not really, 8 seconds on a 5 minute cool down, there was a reason that in every arena match and higher RBG game that people focused the ret down. They were the squishest melee outside of ENH shaman. Once divine shield was popped they had no way of defending themselves.
Keep in mind also that two extremely popular classes in pvp, warrior and priest have ways to remove their 1 defensive.
The whole reason for the rework was because they died too often in all forms of content. The design of BFA-DF ret was a melee glass cannon that had the worst gap closer in wow.

To PVP players Rets being equal to other classes means Rets are OP. PVP players won’t be happy until Rets are completely handicapped in PVP.

So, when are the Paladins getting the nerf because, just like the weekend, BGs are still 30-40% paladins and they are still OP as poop. Leading everyone in damage by only double and triple now instead of triple to Quads…
they should make everyone ret pally broken. warlock was very fun for a few days before they gutted it. theyre afraid people are going to whine about faster games.
