Why wasn't Classic included with the free weekend?

Actually I just understand that how one views things depends on ones own perception. Blizzard wouldn’t want to allow subbing just for Classic because that would defeat their narrative that we don’t have a significant amount of people who prefer things the way they were in “PreCurrentDev” days.

Source? There are three raiding guild horde side on my server and two of them are talking about merging.

Earning call data as posted by several sites.

The only thing that matters here is Blizzard’s perception.

Yours doesn’t matter in this instance.

Blizzard says you’re subbing to Retail and you get Classic for free. There’s no grey area. There’s no “well maybe…” anything.

So, anything you say on the subject now is just a troll post to stir up a reaction.

Can’t find any such data on a google search.

He’s reaching Ham.

He’s a troll, and I’m done with this topic myself.

So… making stuff up. :+1:

How do you do “earning call data” when there is no sub fee for Classic?

Subs in first quarter doubled with the only addition being Classic.
Subs held steady for Q2
Subs have started to drop off for Q3 down to 30 million from 32 million.

Didn’t even need to leave the Warcraft Classic page, it’s right there.

What do I Need to Play WoW Classic?

Access to WoW Classic is included in and available to all players with an active World of Warcraft subscription—no additional purchase required.

That is incorrect. It was classic AND Rise of Azaria. The earning call even said that.

How does that say what you claimed it does.

No such thing was said, the do not give out sub numbers.

So incorrect assumptions that still have nothing to do with the fact that it’s free.

AGAIN…

You can keep denying it, but that’s the truth of the matter.

Just wait, more mental gymnastics incoming. LOL

Nope. I bow to the superiority of your tunnel vision.

Love this scene =)

Sorry, sir. There’s no tunnel visioning. Only black and white facts.

This free weekend was for retail to bring in people for the prelaunch and the new expansion. Classic is free with a WoW sub. That’s it, that’s all.

Because you have to pay for the nostalgia trip; should never get it for free.

Honey, I know this may be difficult to understand, but the game has been here for 16 years. It still has millions of players.

And yes, they’re going to merge old, dead servers. Because opening new ones caused people to migrate, along with slowly dwindling numbers. It just makes logical sense. At no point in time was every single server since the last ones they launched had a queue time or been full. Let’s use some logic, please

Corporations have been doing cutbacks across the board for some time now. To act like a company is going under due to some layoffs shows me you know nothing about the world of business.

And if your server is empty at 8pm, that sounds like a server problem. Because all of mine are constantly teeming with people. Maybe try playing on a different one.

A bit dramatic. BfA sucked, I hate throwaway systems, their writers are bad, but it’s not that bad.

Source please.

The small number of people upset over a nonsensical issue of having to delay is not a huge deal.

What are you, two? Grow up, dude. Try looking at facts instead of having a dramatic jaded ragefest.

This is the most ridiculous crap I hear on this forum. “Facts are wrong! You must LOOOOVE Blizzard, eventhough you’ve stated you don’t like stuff in the game!”

Such a grown up response. Try using facts instead of insults, kiddo. I’m glad to be on your ignore list.

If they keep this up, they may have a bright future in politics.
