No you don’t: saying “you don’t know what you’re doing, or talkin about” is not an argument, is just attack the person not the argument, and even when you try you give me the reason by saying “You only gain slightly fewer points in the upper square”

im agree, it is not, but just because the amount of people you can have on the BG, not because having 5 cap bases is not optimal by it self.

Temple is the best map. Dunk or be dunked then move on.

I like the all in kill or be killed with an orb in middle playstyle and I carry an orb any chance I get. But if you cant live in the middle staying grouped and kiting with orbs is much better than dying in middle and dropping them often, since the enemy gets points when they kill your orb carriers.
Yes, but what about debbuf? Do you really think it’s “fun” for someone to take that ridiculous amount of damage? Yes, surely for the one who is doing +300% damage it is, but what about for the one who is receiving it? And don’t get me wrong, I know they put that debuff because of the fact that there are currently virtually immortal classes/roles, but it’s precisely the fact that they have to put external “factors” not inherent to the classes themselves that makes it a bad design…Not to mention the obvious advantage that ranged classes have here over melee when it comes to carrying the orb, especially on this map.
Well you arent supposed to main character tank the world when your stacks get high LOL.
Battlegrounds are objective based so you may want to try solo shuffle if you want to pump and dump. Most objectives have a weakness debuff and in Temple the orb damage buff is insane for some classes.
Taking any kind of damage isn’t fun. The debuff exists so that a team who loses the initial clash has a chance to make a comeback if they coordinate after a rez.
You win as a team, though. If your ranged are better suited for carrying (and are doing a good job of picking orbs), let them.
Whichever team gets established at mid first, wins. Almost every time. The objectives just dont pull teams far enough apart to give the other team an opportunity to break the lines.
Its like if battle for gil only had 2 caps.
I’ve had good luck using the fast travel to grab their cart as soon as it spawns as well as attack their crystal carrier. That will force the enemy team to either leave mid to defend their FC (leaving your team at an advantage in mid), or you kill their FC and cap it at their own turn in for free points for your team.
The carts seem to give a surprising amount of points from just controlling them, not just when they cap so taking the enemy’s cart at the start of the game can put your team ahead by a lot of points.
I find the map is spread out enough to allow for those clutch 1v1 2v2 etc fights that can turn the tide, while also not being so spread out it takes ages to get anywhere.

This bg has rewarded Team play since launch and it’s own iteration into RBG, It is however dated regarding the power/vulnerability aspect on orb carriers regarding current content.
stay center be rewarded, go out into the can be picked off area, less rewarded. (or out of the fight zone with 0 point gain, and purposely delay and hold an orb to be toxic)
Feel like the spawns should not be random But forced and tied to both respective faction sides to get people to Group Up, reinforce carriers, etc. spawns i’d say are the worst end of the bg itself. while the orb functions could just have outright “removed the damage bonus” and vastly “nerfed the damage debuff” to still be reasonable since everything and majority of everyone can die so easily outside of heal specs.
(same issue with WW’s/LH’s Revive points Not working as it’s supposed to, to spawn at a Base to defend from or push from.) main question should be why are they bothering to keep the Legion BG But refused to keep Strand of the Ancients? and tweak the round function? to at most a best of 3?
If we are getting rid of BG maps, Seething Shore goes first.

It’s a great BG. Sounds like you just don’t like it and are probably playing it inefficiently.
Once they swapped it over to Panda Basin…its been great. I enjoy that bg immensely.
