Why The Rush Blizzard?

We are waiting for the content to come out. If it was released further down the line, players would have farmed even more gold to use for consumables in pvp.

Either way, you’re behind. Nobody is going to wait for you to catch up. It’s a moot point.

They are cheapening the experience with speed leveling, players basically destroying classic wow because they have no lives, now players who are actually enjoying the leveling experience, taking their time, leveling professions are left out because OF MORONS.

Just no.

Source? I have yet to see anything say that the majority of the player base is 60.

Source? I have not seen any evidence at all of this insanely grandiose claim.

I am 60 and I do not understand any of your post… in fact I have two 60’s and two 35’s and a three box of 14s on ally side and I do not agree or understand a single thing you have said or pretend to think is true.

I know everything about max level play… weekly clearing of MC and Ony… and could pug it with another guild on my 60 druid if I wanted… so again… your post is full of faulty opinions and ignorant assumptions…

Try harder…

Because it wasn’t developed yet. If you want fully developed content to be released to fit your schedule; if you want “time-gating”, you can play BfA.

The playerbase is ready for new content, Blizzard should release battlegrounds or the rest of Phase 3 in a month.

Blizzard didn’t wait for people to catch up in Vanilla, they shouldn’t wait now.

DITTO for you dude. You can play BFA all day so you can rush to max level, rush through normal raids, rush through heroics, then rush through mythic raids. That’s the way bfa players play dude. You’re a loser dude.

If you want a casual game, GO PLAY BfA. If you want everyone to wear the same gear and be at the same level of progression…

GO PLAY BfA.

You go play BFA dude. BFA is the direct result of players like you dude! THe whole reason there’s 4 different raiding difficulties is because of losers getting on here who don’t give a crap about anything but rushing through content.

You guys max level then max out your gear then RUSH to the forums and say BLIZZZ WE NEED MORE CONTENT because we play the game like a career. So in response you know what blizzard does… not giving you more content but raising the bar of difficulty. That’s it!

Are you kidding me? BfA is the direct result of players wanting to experience all the content and be able to “catch up.”

Do you think BfA rewards time investment and hardcore play? LOL, you can get within a few item levels of the best players in the world by raiding 3 hours a week and doing a single 30 minute dungeon.

The core audience that was lost isn’t the content hungry no life but wowers as they aren’t loyal. My 2 subs that came back is new revenue for Blizzard. Yes I look forward to PvP And bg’s even against over geared toon because that is what classic was like. I was 26 when release came out an am 41 now. Although I am not the key of any video game demographic, I played wow with my 1 year old on my lap who is now 11. This is the revenue they will lose as I have no interest in future expansions. I’ll buy wc3 reforged and move on from sub when I lose interest.

It is entirely WAY too fast. Normal progression should be 5 months before Phase 2 Honor System, which should be around January 2020. This would line up with the 5 months it took them originally to get to Patch 1.4.

You know what these private server people did? They rushed to 60, blew through raids that they’ve done 40 times, then swapped over to another server and did the same thing over and over and over.

The difference between now and 2005 is the rate that the playerbase is going through content. People cried endlessly when Dire Maul released “early”. In Vanilla, ZERO guilds in the world had cleared MC when Dire Maul released.

Thousands of guilds have cleared MC now. It’s likely that barely 100 cleared MC in Vanilla when BWL released.

If you’re talking a Classic experience, the playerbase was ready for BWL a month ago.

Neither of you want to hear this… but you are both right… they added the different levels of difficulty to everything for the zoomers… and then they realized they were screwing the casuals so they added the free epics and catch up mechanics that give those free epics.

So you can stop arguing and move on to something more productive…

Well, the reality is that Blizzard has already said they’re looking at where the playerbase is when deciding to release content.

I doubt that any of these threads have an impact on their decision. They’re going to look at their internal metrics and release content when they feel enough players have cleared the content that’s out.

None of us have any idea where their bar is set. It definitely has nothing to do with the length between content in Vanilla, that much is obvious.

Gear wise that is not true which is why you have to set up a straw man.

Yeah this is ridiculous, everyone in vanilla leveled at exactly the same rate and noone ever ran a dungeon or raid until everyone on the server was completely cool with it.

Stop cheapening my vanilla experience.

What I see is the cheapening of the experience. This schedule is a proven winning formula. What is going to happen is they are going to rush rush rush rush rush everything and people (who don’t live in the game 15 hours a day) will fall further and further and further and further behind. And this is actually what is going to cause people who are dedicated to the original experience to not come back. Just like they cheapened the experience with layer abuse, and raid buffs not set to 8 before BWL. This is the stuff pissing people off.

It’s the incalculables that will get them in the end. Blizzard culture these days seems to think and live off the assumption that players will be bored because it’s “different now”, but they keep gauging interest off of recent WoW experience. Retail players are a different breed of player and many of them are not even interested in Classic to begin with.

They should appease to the base of Classic, the people who want the real deal.
Blizzard should have it easy here, they really don’t have to do anything, just stick to the script. All these people who are 60 and have run Ony and MC 50x times are the same crowd that wanted no changes. I see no reason why they still shouldn’t be around in January once the Honor System rolled out, if they stuck to the original release schedule of Vanilla.

Your own numbers that you are citing prove the playerbase is not ready for more content.

Blizzard catering to the private server crowd is a mistake man. They’ve been prepping since the dawn of private servers for the day they get to own “casuals”. They know everything about the game, and have leveled up every class/spec available on their private servers so they can be the top people. It’s not fair.

Exaggerations like this don’t help your argument, not one bit.
