Why tame Oondasta?

/insert Mojo Jojo quote: “That’s the evilest thing I can imagine.”

I agree with you. If a player really likes Oondasta, and wants to tame it, great. As for me, I just don’t get the appeal.

Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed.

i miss this mentality

i miss when content was challenging and appearances were demonstrations of skill
i use to walk around org and go “wow insane that’s so rad i wanna try that”

now everyone gets everything for free and some 40 y/o will say “how does wat someone else has effect u!1!11!” when you talk about trophies / disinterest in participation trophies

pvp was one of the last bastions of trophies, but they’ve completely destroyed elite sets and made them 1800 and given glad to 5x the amount of players that would usually get it

If People want to tame a Giant Boss Creature. I say I don’t see why not.

To be fair, if you see a hunter taming him, don’t be a prick and kill him.

Being honest I do it with Gondria & Arcturis as well. I think I do this out of spite when I kept coming across a hunter raid group several months ago @ Oondasta that kept taming & releasing it.

When did I say that I have ever done that?

Just giving you a reason why you might see his dead body if you go to camp him.

Why are hunters such drama queens?

I always though Oondasta would be a kool pet for a Z-troll. As for myself, I prefer Thok. More impressive and macho looking pet.

So other players can’t try for the mount drop.

If I’ve learned nothing else about most people that main hunters, I’ve learned that they are the most selfish, entitled, and obnoxious in the game.

Says the DH

He should be immune to taming for the same period he is unkillable.
Solves all the problems and actually adds a little prestige to taming him.

Instead, Blizzard trolled all the MoP world boss mount farmers.

Level 110. I don’t main a DH.

But, expecting a hunter to look before posting, or even before shooting everything in sight in a dungeon, is a tall order.

It doesn’t matter.

I never said anything or care about your level or that isn’t not your main.
I just said simply “Says the DH”.

Maybe because he’s a cool t rex and people like me like dinos hmph the audacitytytyty . I have yet to tame him on my hunter cuz norm he’s dead before I can get to him in time .

There is no such thing as unique beasts to tame in WoW. All beasts that are tameable are available to every hunter. You cannot have something that no one else has, unless it was a tame that was inadvertently allowed in the game and then made untameable.

If you want to be different, tame something that few hunters have - which are generally beasts that are rather boring to look at. The fun thing about being a hunter is the ability to have amazing pets.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t tame a pet to have people come up and throw me kisses of admiration. (That’s reserved for me riding my glorious Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent… :sunglasses:) I tame them because I like the look of it. It’s purely personal.

The motivation is – I can do it. As with most things in this game, it’s provided for fun, and if taming it is fun for a hunter, that’s all the motivation they need.

Because we are sick n tired of y’all killing our tames while we are trying to tame them :triumph::roll_eyes::triumph:

Which I may add, has been going on a lot longer than Hunters
taming and releasing to keep people from getting a mount.

Myself, I have no interest in any other pet on my Hunter.
My ghost Kitty Suzie, and my hunter, have been together since the
start of Wrath. I will probably never have any other pet.
