Lock starts off with issues then become Gods.

Have you ever considered playing your class or spec that you enjoy most? I play Destro through good and bad. I’ve always enjoyed it most out of everything else.

I’m trying other things today. Survival Hunter, a bit BM and some MM. Seem survival can deal fois in raid and MM in M+.
Blizzard give some attention, I can really choose what my pet looks like and with a bigger player base they don’t abandon this class during a patch I suppose (hope?)
A little delusional if you think Hunter is a more complete class than Warlock. Class fantasy, flavor, tuning, visuals/sound, transmog wise Hunters are probably the worst three if not the worst. Ironically, Warlock is top 3.
Just look at the mess of Survival and to a lesser extent BM. Also, choose what your pet looks like? Hunter pets are the blandest pets in any MMO or any RPG. Boring skills, animation/sounds and zero personalities.
I tested in raid NM today the three spec of Hunter. Survival has something cool but probably not enough for me to main it.
Others are not for me.
Tried in HM my devastation and augmentation. I was so bad lol, green parses at best for my ilvl haha.
This is a rather rough time for Demo Lock, I guess all Locks, but it’s always rough. But, after 11 years with this lady, I can’t really think of maining anything else. I don’t know any other class as well as I know this lady, and while I’ve taken hits, and top rarely in TWW, I’ll stick it out. I’ll be playing this lady until the game dies, or I do.
Plus, toward the ends of expansions, I’m usually so strong I can carry things. BFA was the best expansion for me, No Boss was as fun as N’Zoth. I actually was the ted-talk guy for a while. And actually got my last clear while wearing the Brewfest Pretzel Hat. No, not the transmog, I accidentally put on the Hat XD!
Gotta stick it through, warlock may suffer, but we just gotta hold on. Like that Dio Song “Hungry For Heaven” (My favorite, Second to Rainbow in the Dark; Dang I haven’t listened to Dio in months!)

Probably not. I dislike things like I said but seem that no other class give me good vibe in raid.
Shadow priest and rogue are the next to test. Then mage.
Yeah, my demo guild mate is having trouble with demo in raids and M+. Too much moving needed and they only really shine when they can stand still.

Pretty much, it’s awful. Plus, they axed the Fel Rush buffs to make it take less health from us. So, if we want to move fast, we suffer, because healers can’t keep up with it. Casting takes a bit longer, especially at the start of an expansion, and it’s just impossible to keep up sometimes without being bottom barrel.
And at the they take all away. The end of df was miserable…
Soon as they buff, they will be nerfed within 2 weeks
incoming another nerf with the excuse of a bug fix prediction! for patch 11.05, not sure if you can fall even further from the bottom tier list.

Single target, dev evoker is doing literally 33% more dps than diabolist warlock at max gear.
That means for every 3 warlocks you bring, you’re losing an entire warlock worth of damage had they just been a real class.
Warlock is fine for heroic, sure. But there is exactly one boss in Mythic that warrants bringing one, and that might go away depending on how bad these AoE nerfs are.
If it wasn’t for soul stones and health stones, no guild would bother with warlock at this stage.

There is a difference between viable and socially accepted. Being a dps class with nothing to offer but subpar dps and health stones, how many groups would honestly pick Warlock over any other class? I spent 2 hours applying to 8s yesterday. 0 invites despite my gear score being 618 and my rating over 2k.

I feel like boomy or shaman are more Warlock ish than hunter. I fall asleep playing hunter.
Our experiences must be different. I’ve pugged my way up to 2500 as Destro, majority of the time I was #1 on DPS.
I had no problems until i hit 8s. Now i cant get a thing. Public perception of a class does greatly influence pug life.
Individual skill of course goes a long way but if you are a bottom performing class, many would shy away from gambling on a bottom class when they can get a class that with less skill could accomplish the same or better results.
Is it possible to get to 3000 with a lock? Undeniably. Unfortunately it would be much harder than for lets say a frost dk or arcane mage.
The warlock devs just keep disappointing i see.
The changes to diabolist are awful.
They keep coming up with cool stuff and then ruining it a few months down the line, or even immediately, unnecessarily, the most fun version of aff and destro were during beta, the most fun version of demo was s1/2 of df.
Wtf is going on? They are getting way to comfortable with ruining spec/class mechanics.
I bet it was the warlock dev who touched enhance shaman this patch, considering their apparent hate for resource generation. It definitely would not surprise me. And by the way, yea, it doesn’t feel as good as before, thanks.
I am truly disappointed. Stop ruining everything you touch.
