Why so many Timewalking tanks wannabe speedrunners?

After so long, I think they think we expect them to be fast… imagine if a tank was super slow, some players would wanna kick.

That math doesn’t check out because extra bosses are only worth doing if they are along the path to the end like Stratholm. Grab the ones on the way, pull them with the trash but you don’t go way off to the dead zone

Ten yards is a ‘dead zone’?

What if I keep aggro and kite all the trash to the boss?

The math DOES check out, you spend <10 seconds tagging bosses while you run around tagging mobs, maybe just drag all the mobs you have tagged to that boss, heck take 2 bosses at a time if you want to stroke your ego, but it doesn’t take 10 minutes out of the way every boss, that’s asinine.
The amount of badges you get doing all bosses > than doing just some of the bosses. It’s a simple concept.

They aren’t worth the time spent going the opposite direction.

Set a 1 hour timer and a goal of 1000 badges, try both ways and see who’s method reaches the higher number of badges first. I promise it’s not the speed runner doing less bosses per dungeon who wins that EVER, because that’s not how numbers and math work.

Oh shut up.

It’s definitely the group clearing the content instead of wasting time on low-value side bosses.

It’s truly sad you think doing 3 bosses gives you more than doing 8 bosses in the same amount of time. I’m done trying to talk logic to flat earthers.

It’s not in the same amount of time. It’s doing 3 bosses and the end of dungeon versus spending more time to do the extra side-bosses

spend 1 hour doing that and 1 hour doing all the bosses, in that same amount of time you will get more doing all the bosses. This is logic and a guarantee. It’s not even up for debate as it’s a fact.

It is by no means a fact.

what flat side of the planet are you from?

The part that has at least basic understanding of the linear nature of time.

Not very convincing

The last couple TWs I healed, the tank just kept running until he died, and then the rest of the group wiped. Then he came back in, and ran until he died again - never hit a single mob. He got kicked at that point.

Imagine if all these players who complain about tanks would make tanks themselves. Be the shining example of what a good tank is supposed to be, so all those speedrunners have some inspiration!

I do enjoy doing TW on dps just to see how bad the tank situation is made out to be… I must be lucky I haven’t had any of these speedrunner tanks I keep seeing complaints over.

In TW as a tank you always only pull what you can handle without heal, so you wont do anything.

We should just sit at start area and wait for tank to just pull everything there, I could fold some laundry while waiting.
