Why so low amount of people running M+ keys this week?

Most people are done, and there’s a large amount of specs that get blacklisted for not being able to cleanse.

It’s a community inflicted issue, yet again.

I’m sure some people love it.

The playerbase isn’t a hivemind so every change ends up with complaints. It’s just different people being different and it’s up to the devs to determine how to make changes or if making changes is better or worse for the game.

Ironically raider.io shows all of the “useless” classes for afflicted (warrior, DK, warlock, rogue, Hunter) with pretty high rep except DK. More than most specs that can handle afflicted.

Damage tuning is primarily what drives the meta. Utility and affix interaction is a distant second. Just like Spriests and bursting. They could mass dispel bursting last expansion and were still unpopular. They are popular now because…damage.

No, you definitely aren’t lol. Nobody is complaining about how fast upgrading your gear is except a few goofy people on here.

The amount of M+ you have to run hasn’t really changed since BFA either.

That logic goes over so many peoples head though. affix > DPS, healing, and tanking to most.

Diablo 4 gameplay starts slowing down at level 50, even more at level 70, and turns into a real grind after that. A lot of players are starting to realize that when season 1 starts they’ll have to start all over again with a new character, and are taking a break.

I am for sure

I don’t get the complaints that M+ is repetitive and boring, yet everything else in the game that also gets repeated daily/weekly is somehow not equally boring.

I’d play more of Blizz kept valor the way it was in the beginning. The new upgrade system sucks

It depends on how repetitive and/or boring people find something how soon they get fed up or burnt out. A correctly tuned reward structure can extend the life of content, while an inadequate reward structure will result in players giving up on content that seems pointless.

The new system is actually quite good if you’re using it to full potential, i.e. doing content that gives Hero track items and/or aspect crests.

Definitely beats hitting an IO threshold and then farming +2s to upgrade all your gear.

Tyran week sucks. But honestly as someone with a healer alt, I hate afflicted. I don’t blame any healers for not wanting to run keys this week lol

Keys got boring and D4 came out.

So it’s designed to benefit most those who do harder content, and to a much less degree those who have never wanted to do that.

I think that’s the point of the discussion.

m+ rewards are horrible…literally no better than shadowlands…

that needs to change ASAP…bring back more FOMO rewards that matter (Challenge mode/Mage tower types of trophies)

there’s so much they can add to keep this game fresh…(rated brawler’s guild with exclusive rewards for solo’ers…more rewards for 20+ keys, heroic/mythic raider rewards, etc.)…

Few bosses also feel terrible on tyrannical. Like the bleed from the uldaman snek is just awful. If healer isnt on their A game I’m dead after victory rush, ignore pain (twice), rank 3 potion towards the end of that fight when stacks are up.

So throw in the towel on trying to retain the majority of players, who are not and have never been elite. Okay.

Healing pugs on afflicted week is just not fun. Its seen as a healer mechanic but during moments of high healing requirements like on some boss fights and then a double afflicted comes out and the group still expects you to solo it is just not fun gameplay. Tyrannical week can make bad pugs even more frustrating making me want to only run with friends / guildies. Might be a skill issue on my part but healing felt especially frustrating this week in the 16-20 range.

I have nothing to back this up but its possible a lot of healers dont enjoy pugging this week, leading to longer que times to form groups. This might lead to dps getting bored of waiting and giving up. Later in the week this would cause the LFG tool to seem more empty than usual.

Also possible that people are fully geared or burnt out and taking a break on diablo or other games.

It’s not how quick you can gear up. It’s that the content is so boring!
