That link literally also says: All other Mythic+ achievements and rewards can still be earned until Dragonflight Season 4 begins.
That is what people are complaining about. We can usually still work on upgrading gear up to reset for things like transmog or getting alts ready. The cut off is usually for the titles etc.
It feels very awkward that they removed flightstones for upgrading, but kept the other currencies that also get paid out after reset.
Basically no one I knew, knew about it so I guess their little âannouncementâ didnât reach anyone. Couldâve thrown it to the in-game menu - they did it for Plunderstorm. Make big changes, make big announcements - especially when prior seasons worked differently. âSeason endingâ in the middle of the day, is bad. Simple as. Really goes to show the devs they have working on the game are not top notch, are not in tune with the community, and they should do better.
Blizzard can choose how to communicate with their users.
Like posting maintenance information directly on the launcher so its noticable when logging in.
They could have done the same for this early reset.
But if âyouâ want to blame me for not checking the news section every day, fine. I donât really care what you think. The amount of time a certain person can dedicate to specific things differs between people.
Just because you have a lot of time to dedicate to WoW doesnât mean other people also do.
(Looking through the news every day means, lesser time doing things in WoW.)
Good for you. Like I said, I donât care if âyouâ had the time or not.
Every person has different lives. Different amount of time they could spend on somethings.
If I had limited time to dedicate to WoW, I would dedicate that time to do something in-game.
If the notice was via in-game mail, I would have noticed.
Then that news link is too vague and contradictory to how theyâve worked with he currencies at season end before. It brings up the titles and awards going away, then says: All other Mythic+ achievements and rewards can still be earned until Dragonflight Season 4 begins.
People are not always going to hold your hand in life and walk you through everything. Seriously its your own responsibility to remain informed. This is with ANYTHING in life. Thats what the news section is for. Like I said even if you checked it once a month you would have known.
Iâll go on forums and post something if something needs improvement in my perspective. Its called feedback. Or maybe Iâm not allowed to??
My posts are targeted towards Blizzard. Unless someone replies to me.
But if you want to start something personally on a public forum like what youâre doing right now, I can if you want.
True. Actually the ONLY time people that I personally know look at the news is maybe for patch notes. Thatâs it. Most people look things up in WoWHead or other sites. Even BLIZZARD sends people to third party sites (or forums, which I tell people NOT to use, unless itâs a technical issue) whenever you try to put in a ticket. WoWHead even seemed surprised as they posted a quick message just 4 hours ago (wasnât there last night, but I went to look just now and saw it there in their news section).
EVERY OTHER SEASON has lasted until downtime before reset. EVERY. OTHER. ONE. that I can remember. This was a big change and should have been made in places where people are more likely to look. A major change (even if it only lasts a few hours) should have been announced, like where they announce downtime and such.
Also, WHY are they changing things? Now we have these empty hours, for those of us who usually play early morning. I donât even see the point of it. The SEASON 3 MYTHIC + dungeons are still up and I guess working. I actually donât MIND these kinds of times to not do current content, but I did kind of want to do a bit of last-minute upgrading.
And no. The sign wasnât right by the spill. It was kind of hidden over by the bulletin board that a lot of people donât look at because they donât usually find it all that useful.
Now this person has a point! It was. I agree with this. I just kind of assumed what they meant was until season 3 ends. Mainly because there was a few hour Gap between when it ends and s4 starts.
In the past the wipe has always been the night before the day of the new season. So I was just going off that. But yes you are right that could have been worded much better! A person with less experience or newer to the game wouldnât know this.
I was just arguing with the other guy who claimed Blizzard never announced it to say Yes they did.
Iâve looked at the news section right now, and its cluttered as ****.
It has a bunch of topics I donât care about. You expect me to read through all of that just to find information relevant to resets?
Edit: oh, one more thing. Your replies look very childish. Basically trolling rather than being constructive.
Yeah, probably why a lot of people donât use that as their main WoW news source (even though it the most DIRECT news source). Maybe someone could do an overhaul so itâs more useful more often to people who play the game.
