Why play right now? Yesterday I had a reason

This is true, if you are decently geared, you wont be seeing upgrades until 54 or 55

Or do any SLands content it would seem. So it’s pretty much BFA as usual with some minor tweaks to classes. Totally worth the $16.50.

Did they bring in new mounts in 9.0? There’s probably a few I’m still missing, but I have better things to do that spawn camp or run whatever raid for that 0.1% drop chance.

I have the mog I need.

Yes, except a loladin and well that’s not going to happen.

Do I need a lot of gold? There wasn’t really anything that you needed gold for in BfA outside of some overpriced mounts, and pass on that.

What’s a minion? Those things that Warlocks/Hunters use?

/laughs in Belf.

Yes, except PvP. I’d had more than enough of BfA content 6 months ago.

That’s part of the issue. We don’t know when SL will drop, so why bother subbing when there’ll probably be the usual couple of days worth of quest chain? Just would have been nice to be given the heads-up by Blizzard instead of ā€œPatch launches today!!!1!ā€.

Here’s the thing though, they’re a multi-billion-dollar company. They’ve had 9 months since the last content drop (and even that felt entirely phoned-in outside of the raid). Those of us who have been around long enough remember when a much smaller team could release more high-quality content at a faster rate.

Yes, the game would be far superior and work on a tighter schedule with fewer players funding it…

the same company that delayed bc until it was done, you mean? Since I’ve apparently ā€œbeen around long(er) enoughā€ than you I recall that old Blizzard took pride in delaying projects until they were done or even cancelling them if they didn’t meet their standards. Ghost and Titan being two examples. We are not owed an expansion when we expect it. Do the existing content, wait or play something else. Let blizzard take their time and get it right instead of rushing out yet another expansion Ć  la WoD or BFA on schedule but fundamentally crippled at launch.

I’m happy they delayed the expansion but we all think maybe they should have also delayed the pre patch until we had something to go with it seeing it destroyed what most of us were happy doing while we waited. This content doesn’t fit the changes and I’m sure it’ll be great in shadowlands but we don’t have that yet so why do this and this alone right now …
