Lol all video games are a waste of time. Thats the point.
PvE - and of course HC - is not a contest against NPCs. It’s a contest with yourself
The messages from guild deaths and deathlogs are interesting.
It’s a contest of can you pay attention or do you get distracted and die lol I personally dont derive any fun from questing etc UNLESS im able to pvp during it. Same goes for mining etc, always have mining when theres wpvp cause i dont mind farming if i can find some pvp too, but for example on wotlk only 1 server has wpvp now so i dropped mining since im not on Grobb lol.
I realize its just how a pvper views this whole thing and its not for me i guess.
Until they fall from the TB elevator.
I cannot fully explain why I like it, other than leveling in classic without ever dying is harder than you think. Plus the Deathlog addons amuses me to no end…lol I have died twice, and I am not being even more careful. I find it relaxing. I could just be a sadist o.O
I mean it’s not for everyone. People play for different reasons. I like repeating the same process over and over in a more and more perfected way. Where one mistake can mean starting over.
You probably wont understand why people play it until you try it yourself. If you cant play without pvp then yes it likely wont hold your interest for long but who knows.
There is an element of fear in it. That is what makes it more interesting or fun.
to see how far i can get and get bummed when i die in a stupid way either restart or go back to classic for a bit
Why not worry about yourself?
