What I don’t get about playing classic, is you can just start a toon and play as it was classic in BFA. Even though, I stopped playing BFA, I thought about coming back to play classic, but then I thought, you can already do this now. What point am missing?

I have played since 2004. It took forever to get to level 60. So what is the difference? The only thing to me is back then everyone helped everyone else a lot. It made the game more fun than just getting gear.

What I am saying is that dirt is already functionally identical to cake now, if you wanted to eat dirt and have it be like cake you can.

I suppose this is not going anywhere. I think people are looking for something they have lost over the years. You cannot re-capture your youth. I have been toying with playing but keep asking myself why.

What you don’t have is what type of behavior and playstyle the game used to promotes/encourage.
The optimal way to play (as a behaviour, activities and cooperation) is vastly different between the 2 games.
