bumping the post to say since I made the original post my server is now 30/70, any news on addressing this issue?
you should of thought of that when you went alliance, you should of gone horde since they can do everything, que with themselves, and farm everything
from my experience, Ive had alliance drop out of the sky to gank me on a daily basis since arriving at Nagrand
Alliance formed into 5+ man parties and attacked Thrallmar and Falcon’s Watch on a near daily basis
have had two incidents in Nagrand where Alliance attacked our 5 man party during RoB and Durn
ganking goes both ways, despite the population difference 
I rolled Alliance because I enjoy world pvp, more horde to gank and annoy. Why would you roll horde on a pvp server atm? Yeah I get mobbed by half a dozen horde from time to time, welcome to a relatively authentic BC experience. There are advantages to playing a low population faction if you know how to capitalize on them.
You could play alliance for the same reason I play horde. I play horde because I want to. I’ve always wanted to. It makes me happy.
Things work out pretty well overall if you just play what you like playing.
