So I had to settle.
Because some of those people who vote are uneducated and the democrats aren’t doing anything to push for more votes, really. You can make assumptions about me all you like. I live in Australia. I see what happens in the US (and no, not through mainstream media either). If I’m super far left for calling it how I see it, so be it. I’m also not living in the suburbs and grew up poor! Republicans take advantage of the fact that they’ve pushed against socialist ideas like subsidised healthcare and education so that the entire population continues to get dumbed down and votes for them. Same happens in Australia when Liberals are in power.

The subject was the way that conservatives use woke to describe minorities. Then you said that minorities are voting more and more for them. I then said that the population as a whole (including white people) are uneducated and conservatives take advantage of that.
And I do have a frame of reference. Just because I live in a different country doesn’t mean I don’t know anything. The US is influential globally including in Australia. I also follow political commentators from the US and have looked into legislation and things like that. If you believe that being from a different country means you can’t look at others and see what’s going on, you’ve achieved a level of brainrot that I didn’t think could be possible. Knowing what’s going on on a global scale is huge.
Did you know that one man runs the media in Australia, the UK and the US? That’s why I look at the US, because what they do bleeds into our country.
Edit: Oh and considering the US likes to stick its nose in every other country’s business and write their own constitutions (like Japan after WWII) I think I should be allowed to speak out against the US, no?

The voting population for the Republican base is uneducated as a whole, once again. Yes, I have a frame of reference. The most conservative place in the US I’ll ever stop foot in? Why is that important? There’s plenty of places I could list off the top off my head but I’m gonna hazard a guess it’s either Idaho, Louisiana, Wyoming or Mississippi. And who says it’s what happens when you lose a world war? The US? You agree with the US being a force of imperialism? You enjoy them being a world power? I certainly don’t. Let’s not forget what they’ve done to places like Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and other smaller countries that should not have been meddled in by the US when they have their own issues going on. And nobody from the US talks about Australian politics because nobody cares and again, a lot of people from the US can’t even label simple geographical locations a lot of the time. The US, however, is a global power that influences Australia. So of course I’m going to want to know what’s going on over there.
