Maaaybe… just maybe… this is why you’re struggling to socialize and then get things done in this game. Hate to break it to you, but people are people are people no matter where you go, and if this is your approach in other games, it’s gonna be the same issue.
That comes in time tho. Like you wouldnt walk upto a new bunch of people on the street, dump all your issues and then be upset they didnt want to interact with you. People have boundaries and you should respect that. As you get to know your guildies, and they you, thats when you can start having conversations about personal things.
Guild im in for example, they have social hang out nights, open normal and heroic nights, help everyone get their KSM mounts, help ppl level, we have class channels for help in discord, they are even doing city meet ups next month for christmas and we have a wellness channel where people can feel free to discuss problems in a safe place. Also have a strong officer core that work hard to eliminate any douche bag behaviour/members and we join in on community events, like we all spent a night doing the Chopper Drive event which is a fund raiser for beyond blue (a mental health service).
Hell most mythic raiders etc still make mistakes, even on 1% wipes. it happens, thats part of the game, literally no one is perfect, people have good and bad days.
And everyone has to start somewhere.
I’ve accepted that people may have verbally abused you, without fact checking. I’m more than willing to just concede that. But that’s still different from a “war on casuals.” Nobody here has individual power to affect the game. Nobody here can “wage war” against you, and also it just sounds so corny.
