That doesn’t answer the question. What are you going to do? Because if you’re simply letting your sub lapse and aren’t filling that in with anything, you’re simply going to resub and be back here with the same gripes.
You don’t have to make any kind of commitment like that. But you’ve been griping about this game since BfA from what I recall. There are plenty other games out there. If you don’t like WoW, fill your time with something you do like, because the least you can do is respect your own autonomy and free will.
Surely you won’t be giving then more money to continue to be disappointed, right?
You see no other way forward other than in raiding or instanced content.
That why you and Blizzard will lose in the long run, when you find yourselves rulers of a tomb world.

Only with KsM and even the. It maxes at 246 which is equal to heroic sylvanus and kt loot.
Looks at his 252 M+ weapon…

Can y’all stop with this “us vs. them” thing already? Why are we getting tribal over video games? Everyone I see commenting many times has been critical of Blizzard recently. Just because we don’t agree with you here doesn’t mean we think Blizzard can do no wrong or that we’re the “favored child.”
It’s unhealthy.

Uh no because I no longer enjoy Blizz content and the direction they’re heading in holds no interest to me, personally.

You’re not entitled to gear from content you refuse to do
Games die all the time.

Yep. He’s not going anywhere.
I’m jealous. Zero weapons for me, and not even my BiS weapon from M+. My mage has been getting dumpstered this patch.
I am willing. I’m just human and still mess up sometimes no matter how much prep work I do.
Not really. I’d ask guilds to join, mention my problems, anxieties and help I might need, and the convo turns to crickets real quickly.
There is no friendly safe space for someone like me who needs one. I’d gladly stay and play solo if it was worth it though, but as evidenced by this thread that is apparently unacceptable.

Funny how so many people claim to be psychologists for healthy minds these days.
Or if focusing on the user behind the avatar is going to defeat the argument still on the table…
Why are you victimizing yourself over a video game again?

Mate, your not approaching the right guilds and sorry to say but emotional dumping on a new guild gives the impression your going to be more problems than your worth.
Just join a guild, attend their open runs, chat. Not everything has to be this heavy drama filled situation.

My condolences heh.
But that’s kind of the point as I see it. Mythic raiding is the most challenging content and provides the greatest sense of progression (just 0.3% more) and something for you to pursue and see a material difference. Maybe it’s super annoying that you have to do rep grinds for content tuned for such, but it’s similar the other way around too from a casual player perspective; do M+ or just be happy defining your own sense of progression like achievements, mogs, etc.
Who claimed this?
I already defeated it. There is no war on casuals. You know it’s defeated because you’re moving goalposts. So now, all I’m doing is reminding you that you’re not being forced to play nor is anyone begging you to stay.
All you really need to say is
“Hey I am pretty new to raiding but I’m willing to learn if I make mistakes”
Better to be honest though. I don’t want to invest emotionally into a guild that isn’t going to care about me as a person.
You said…
Implying brain damage is an insult tbh. But keep trying to play it off like you aren’t being a jerk.
That is why we are suggesting gear with ilvl comparable to heroic/normal. Not the actual pieces. Altough if they added timewalking to be weekly instead of every 3 weeks and the quest for normal raid loot I wouldn’t mind that.

here’s the thing: everyone does. there are 0 people playing this game who have never made a mistake, never wiped a group, never failed a mechanic, messed up their rotation, etc. 0.

Warlords of Draenor had the best PVP gearing this game has ever seen. It didn’t matter if you were a 15 year old back peddling clicker, or a 45 year old man with one arm - you get the currency, you get the gear… you’re on ‘‘equal’’ footing. Unfortunately, the high rated players started to complain about not having an advantage gear wise. God Forbid. This lead to the whole ‘‘people couldn’t find the vendors’’ lie. People found the vendors just fine, and that was the real ‘‘problem’’.
Ion believes that PVP should be like PVE - about gear progression. PVP should never be about gear progression - it should be about progression. Until he realizes that - PVP will never be as fun as it once was. It’ll never be truly balanced, but it can be fun again.
All Ion has to say is the following - ‘‘we’re removing the rating requirement from PVP gear, and upgrades.’’
PVP Rating should be it’s own reward.
