Maybe they’ll finally invest in PVP
So this gap you speak of affects you how? In what way does you being 13 ilvls lower than the person doing mythic raiding compared to your horoic raiding have that affects your gameplay? Or is it a they have cooler stuff than me problem that you could easily solve?
pvp is self-sustaining. as long as there’s players, they can fight each other.
They nearly have the same stuff as heroic raiders because some of the best Mythic loot drops off Eranog and Primal Council, while M+ can reward 421 gear. The actual (non-cosmetic) cooler stuff Mythic players get is not a lot. Mythic Broodkeeper loot, Mythic Raszageth bow, and… that’s maybe it?
Yes but some new maps would be nice.
Why raid at all when you can m+ for just as good of gear if not better? Mythic Eanog and Council at this point are super easy to pug.
Gearing through m+ is a complete joke and spammable while raid isn’t.
Personally, when I raided many years ago, I raided because I enjoyed raiding. I didn’t really care about loot and progressing my character, I just liked progressing through raid bosses.
But I do think that historically there have been a lot of people who raided for loot. And that loot isn’t really exclusive to raiding anymore.
Same, but I don’t like the whole 20 + bench requirement from Mythic and I’d like to see the mechanics when those are current…I’ll have to wait if Devs do something about the raiding scene in the future…
Enabling Mythic Flex could also potentially dilute the prestige and exclusivity of completing Mythic raids with a full 20-player group. It could also potentially create balance and tuning issues for the encounters, as they may need to be adjusted for different group sizes.
Which is fine but they honestly need to do something about the archaic raid lockout design and just let people play the game.
The heavy focus on keeping the raid relevant for sub 100 people during WFR is just bad.
Nerfs to Raid bosses is expected later down the line . It is meant for the general audience to clear them Like the B and C team .
This is why players try to clear it as early as possible so they get some validation for their clears
Not sure why you’re worried about mythic when you havent killed it in heroic yet
I can assure you the amount of people walking around saying they killed ras before nerf 347 is extremely low because at the end of the day cutting edge is cutting edge.
It’s proof that the boss is an absolute trainwreck of a coordination check even as far as most Mythic bosses go.
There are like three and a half times more guilds on Mythic Raszageth than there are guilds that have killed Mythic Raszageth.
You’re right I didn’t kill her on Heroic with my main yet, because my current core split and I’m trying to reform it, it was a core of 17 players and a lot of those players wanted to try the first mythic bosses but we can’t even attempt those without doing a fight for 20 players with 17…I bring the topic of raid scene because I used to do Siege of Orgrimmar Heroic, then it was changed to Mythic and I never attempted the new mechanics since 6.0 I miss 10 Heroic in retail…before someone mention classic. For me it’s a matter of doing the fights, not the loot.
She really isn’t a fun boss. Definitely up there on my list of most hated raid bosses in the game.
I didn’t mind it whatsoever on Heroic, all things considered, but on Mythic this boss is a nightmare to prog on.
We’re spreadsheeting CD usage and have some crazy complex movement diagram for what we’re doing in Intermission 2 (not there cleanly yet btw; we almost 100% get there this coming weekend) and at this point I’m just kinda figuring out how I’m playing things out on the fly because there’s absolutely zero shot I end up remembering all this before we ever get pulls that see the phase:
Sire, Sylvanas, Anduin, and Jailer were similar headaches on this front.
I mean, the expansion has been out for more than 3 months. They probably just want more people to kill it at this point.
Raz is mechanics fight. Do it right and it is easy. I even spec typhoon and roar for double aoe “interrupt” on my Druid.
Mythic raid drops 424 if you can get that far. And rare drops too.
Raiding numbers have been dropping because mythic plus is easier and more rewarding. It’s the primary gearing path. Aside from the world first, most people just clear the raid to see what’s going on. Even the most casual guilds I’ve been in don’t care about the raid loot. M+ is the new end game.
The only way to make raiding exciting again would be adjust the reward structure so raiding and M+ are more equal or reduce the time investment of raiding by making shorter raids or both.
