Why nerf one strong class instead of buffing the weak ones that make it seem too strong? PVP

I’m not sure if you are talking about PVP or what but…

there are like so many dimensions to balance besides a 5 minute patchwerk sim on a target dummy.

some classes are really good at huge reaping packs.
some classes are excellent at 2 target cleave.
some classes are the best at split room cleave.
some classes are amazing at single target.

for example freehold and waycrest are probably my best dungeon for overall damage. my abilities don’t target cap and big pulls my body is ready.

bolstering srhine of the storm is probably my worst dungeon. lots of 2 target cleave, can’t use wings to AOE big packs. my damage sucks in that dungeon.

I like blizzards philosophy they want different classes to be good at different things. Single target DPS isn’t the only metric they balance for even though that sim is what most people look at for PVE.
